YAY! Going to a Billy Joel concert would be awesome! Uptown Girl came on the radio in the car yesterday and I was singing and was happy and I told my kids in the backseat that the guy who sings this song was one of your Dad's faves!! So it was good to be able to be reminded of something to tell the kids about their Dad.

I am VERY grateful for the internet too!!! I have met so many nice and creative people through it! and been exposed to so many fandoms I would have known nothing about had it not been for the internet!!

Billy Joel is truly the most awesome singer ever and the best concert I have ever been to, even if he mainly stayed behind the piano. But, randomly, he brought one of his roadies out on stage and had the roadie sing while he played guitar to AC/DC's Highway to Hell. SO AMAZING.

And the internet is how I found a lot of my favourite shows too! (Minus DW, which my Daddy introduced me to when he found out it was being rebooted). :)

Internet = best possible answer. And too true. Almost everyone has moved away from where I've moved back, so same friends situation here. :) Wish I could "hit the bags" to destress too. I'd probably just cry and go to bed. I'm terribly lazy. :D

I AM SO JEALOUS that you got to see Billy Joel perform! I wanted to watch his tour with Elton recently but was unable to.

And I really like Relient K.

I tried to talk my dad into taking me to see Billy Joel's tour with Elton John last summer when they came to DC (which is about 3 hours away from me), but Daddy wouldn't let me pay 175 bucks a ticket, lol. For some reason, he felt that was too steep a price for me to pay (which is something he and I disagreed on). I ended up going to see Green Day and Kaiser Chiefs instead. Billy Joel would still have been my first choice, but those were some drop dead awesome concerts as well.

And yay for liking Relient K! Honestly, the best modern band out there...Matt is too adorable for words.

Yeah I was going to watch them when they were in OH and I was going to be in that state visiting my cousin but my visit was canceled plus my cousin didn't want to pay too much for a ticket.

But I'm convinced that if I saw Elton John perform "Tiny Dancer" and Billy Joel perform "Just The Way You Are" my life would be complete.
