Well, I finished my JET application! So yay for that, though now I just have to wait and wait and wait and... >.<

I think like that too. everything does happen for a reason. I failed high school so I could fix my grades and they weren't enough for uni so I would eventually end up here in Japan instead. ^^
You get dumped and then a year later you realize it was only so that you'd be able to meet your current partner, with whom you're much happier.
There's a reason for everything. We just fail to see it sometimes.

All things work out in due time, and all things work according to a mysterious divine plan. If you do your best at something, but the wall keeps coming up and meeting you with resistance, take that as a sign that it's best you don't travel down that path. You already realize this, so you're already ahead of a lot of these dummies out here who are getting concussions from beating their head against the wall.
