A part of her wonders if she’s acting this way because of the full moon but the redhead also realizes how ridiculous her rationale is. Still, she goes out of her way to avoid Randy unless she absolutely has to interact with him.
Like right now.
She’s scheduled to interview him, one of the few pre-taped segments for the evening, the backstage area more chaotic than usual because of the pay-per-view. Somehow he seems to think that because she’s interviewing him, he’s within all rights to fully invade her personal space.
And she can acutely hear the ticking of the second hand of the clock like grains of sand in an hourglass.
A part of her is tempted to pinch herself to see if she’s dreaming, but then she realizes how silly that could be. So instead, she makes use of all the relaxation techniques that she can think of and tries not to fidget too much because that will just prolong the amount of time she has to spend around him.
Not that she minds the third generation wrestler, much.
Just that right now, she’s still confused.
