“Are you sure you want to do this?”
“Why are you trying to talk me out of it?”
He shrugs, one hand in a pocket of his jeans and the other splayed against the wall. “Just trying to give you an out.”
She arches an eyebrow, “if I wanted an out then I wouldn’t be standing here with you.”
A recognizable smirk forms on his face, “maybe not, but…”
“Are you sure that you want to do this?” Lita returns the question back to him, a smile dancing slowly on her face.
There’s silence between them for a long moment, and the hallway is still nearly empty.
Maybe they’ll regret this in the morning because once the door closes behind them, there’s no turning back.
She leans forwards, invading his personal space so that her perfume teases him as much as her hand on his chest. “No regrets,” Lita reminds him and presses her lips to his briefly.
Lita goes inside first, not bothering to look back to see if he’s following after her.
“No regrets,” he speaks to the empty hallway and then steps inside, closing the door behind him.
