Lita knows that her friends won't judge her, especially not after they've been there for her when she's needed them the most. But having that support system and this situation, are different.

At least to her.

Right now, even though she knows that they mean well, she just needs to be alone. Not to wallow in self pity, but time to calm herself. And to figure out why Vince McMahon felt it was necessary to embarrass her like that.

There is no coming back, at least not full time and not for awhile. There's only moving on.

And that was something that she had hoped she could have done in as dignified a manner as possible. Sure, she hadn't expected fanfare or a victory. But, if she had at least been able to just walk away instead of being humiliated like that.

Biting down on her lower lip, the redhead hastened her pace, wanting to put some distance between herself and the locker rooms.

Lita had seen the sympathy in Lilian's eyes, heard the apology from Mickie once she had made it backstage. The redhead had waved off the concern of Shawn Michaels and the open arms of Edge. She passed by Hunter and nearly ran into Jeff Hardy in her attempt to escape.

Wiping hastily at her face, the now former diva continued her hurried walk.

Right now, though she knew they were only trying to help, Lita didn't want their sympathy. She didn't want to be held or comforted.

She just wanted to be alone and away from prying eyes and helping hands.
