Summary: Follows the post-college life of a group of friends over the course of a year in a Santa Monica apartment complex.

After the water balloon toss has concluded, the guys decide that they need to take a break, Josh, A.J and Alex joining Jamie, Christy, Amy and Punk.
“I don’t see how a normal person could eat that much and not get sick,” Christy commented as she read over the sign-up sheet for the various food eating contests. Surprisingly none of the guys were participating but that was also because Amy, Christy and Jamie flat out refused to deal with the potentially messy aftermath. “Pie eating, watermelon and hot dogs.” And then she arched an eyebrow at her sister, “what are you signing up for?”
“Bubble gum blowing,” Amy informed her sibling, “and so are you and Jamie.”
Jamie looked amused at that, “we are?”
Amy nodded, “yup. We’re also going to try that team-walk with the long ski things. Trish and Micks said that they would join us, as well.”
Christy blinked at her sister, “what else have you signed us up for?”
“An ATV race,” Amy slid her hands into the back pockets of her jean shorts. “I considered the three legged race but I don’t know how if my ankle would hold up for that and the team-walk.”
Punk picked at the chipping black nail polish on his thumb, “afraid to try the tug-of-war or joust?”
Amy smirked at the tattooed male, “you know me, Punk. What do you think?”
He tapped the empty spot on the sign-up sheet for the joust, “I think that this spot should have your name on it.”
Hazel eyes scanned the list, taking note of the familiar names, Alex, Josh and Cena amongst them. “I don’t see your name on there.”
“That’s because Punk’s being a little punk,” Alex intoned casually, the brunette grinning when Punk glared. “Just calling it like I see it.”
Amy put her name on the list, glancing over to Jamie and Christy to ascertain their participation as well. And then before she could put the pencil down, Alex grabbed her wrist, maneuvering so she wrote Punk’s name on the final spot.
