Everybody got a cookie shaped like a fish, and you had to bite the tail off first so the good luck for the new year couldn't 'swim away' I AM DOING THIS FROM NOW ON.
Ohhh okay, that sort of makes sense... but still, stupid Germans :P the rest of the world calls it some variation of 'new years' or 'old and new' (that's us!). But you guys are weird with language, anyway. You string a bunch of words together to clarify stuff, and then abbreviate that because it's too long. You translate movie titles and other names of stuff usually back to German, but when you do use English it makes no sense (Handy? And I went into the world's biggest rant when we were buying Mean Girls and I saw it was titled Girls' Club. WHAT.). Sorry, I love Austria, I do, but srsly stuff is weird here.
Loooooool @ Sylvester though.
And you're not being annoying, that was interesting!
