As bb, that really, really sucks. :( *hugs* Was she sick, or just old? At least when I was a kid and we lost our kittens I could maintain the illusion that they might have somehow survived.
Dear universe: I second this motion. Seriously, give her a break. She's too good for you. kthxbai.
Both. She was 11, and diagnosed with cancer almost a year ago, and I'm so happy she made it so long and that I was home for it and got to spend a lot of time with her, but it still really sucks. :( *squish*
I'm so sorry, darling. We lost my parents' little shih ahpso almost a year ago now, and it's still a little startling and a lot sad when I notice that she's not there.
All my love to your family. You've been in my prayers lately, hun, and this is getting added to the list of reasons for it. Give my sympathy to everyone.
Motion is made & seconded, universe. If it doesn't carry, I shall be sorely vexed with thee. *srs bsnss fais*
You have my deepest sympathies. When my dog died a few years back, it was such a painful shock. She was a sweet, wonderful girl who did nothing but love everyone around her and I'm sure your Maggie was just as much of a joy and losing her will be awful. You and yours are in my thoughts and I hope that things do take that upswing. :(
