I was cleaning a pot with dried broken spaghetti pieces in it while my 5 year old was throwing a hissy fit. One of the hard pieces got wedged half way into my nail and won't come out.
My dad's first aid advice was to soak my hand in really hot water to try and cook the pasta so it would soften. And I'm all like--yes, but that would cook my finger.
I feel so foolish. And in pain but the foolishness is quickly winning.
