I can't wait for others to read this. I really loved it. I hope I am not giving it such a build up that people are disappointed. I enjoyed it so much though, I can't see that being the case.

Love your review - and the connection to Silas Marner intrigues me! I've got this on a waiting list at the library, but I may have to break down and buy it.

I would bet there is more there to pick apart besides Silas. I think I am going to reread. When you do read it see if you pick up clues as to what type of being Silas and Miss Lupescu are. I missed this but found afterwards the answers. If you do buy it, I think it is one you would enjoy having in your book collection.
