A Netizen who claimed to be a mother of two girls made a post in an online forum recently, demanding that NS men be banned from taking public buses because they are dirty and smelly.

The post drew furore from other forum members, who have called the poster

Let's take a recruit's pay for example.

every week book in/out once
if he stays very far, one trip say will cost SGD27.

so 2 trips per week makes it SGD54. 1 mth $216. now recuite pay how much? 350 or 450 ah? I too old liao, dunno the rates now.

take it as 450 bah. minus just cab fare, only left $234. other expenses leh? U can't expect a recruit to just stay at home for all meals and not go out to buy supplies needed for training? Recruits do not have the luxury to visit the Emart as and when they want to. so now i estimate after food lah, bus/mrt lah, toiletries lah, GF lah..... savings leh? no need savings ah?
i spend approx $50 per weekend for books, food, drinks, mrt/sbs fares. if going by the above i;m left a miserable $34? save wat shit?

this mother. better dead than alive. so her kids have NO MONEY for funeral/burial/coffin/flowers for her. dun even talk about a photo for putting infront of the car.
