Epilogue
Kame smiled into his pillow. He refused to open his eyes even though he could feel the warmth of the sunlight that was streaming through the window. After all, he didn’t have any work today or for the next four days. Kitagawa couldn’t understand why the boys looked so tired even after their holidays. Since their timetable was a little relaxed he was nice enough to give them another one week off.Kame snuggled into his pillow.
Home sweet home!
No matter how comfortable a hotel room was, nothing could compare to the comfort of being at home. Especially since Jin was here.
“Jin.”
Kame smiled as he turned over to the other side. He felt around the bed with his eyes still closed so as to snuggle into his lover’s warmth. Except Jin wasn’t there. Reluctantly Kame opened his eyes.
“Jin?”
He thought he heard a muffled scream, then some clanging noises. But in his sleepy daze, he wasn’t too sure.
“Jin?” he called out again little louder as he propped himself up against the headboard.
He heard hurried footsteps pattering across his wooden floor and a few seconds later, the bed room door opened.
“Hey, baby.” Kame smiled as he greeted the other.
He yawned and missed the panic in Jin’s eyes.
“M…Morning, Kame!” Jin smiled a little nervously.
Kame smiled again.
“What are you doing up so early?”
Jin gave a small nervous laugh.
“N...nothing?”
Kame patted the space beside him.
“Then come back to bed” He smiled suggestively.
Jin grinned more easily.
“The guys are coming over today. In fact they should be here any moment now. So you should go take a bath.” He suggested.
Kame pouted.
“Mou…”
Jin laughed as he took a step inside.
“It was your idea, you know! You wanted to show them the photos we took and pass them those seashell mementos we got for them, remember!”
Kame sighed and nodded. He pulled the blankets off and padded over to the bathroom. Again Kame missed the look of relief that flashed across Jin’s face as the older one headed out to the living room. Suddenly Kame paused at the bathroom door and sniffed.
“Jin? What is that smell?”
Jin froze.
“Er…What smell?”
Kame sniffed again.
“That smell…likes something burning.”
He looked over his shoulder at Jin suspiciously.
“Jin, were you trying to cook again.”
Jin gulped. He was about to answer when the doorbell rang.
“Oh look!”Jin exclaimed brightly.
“Too brightly” thought Kame suspiciously.
Jin ignored Kame’s gaze.
“Someone’s at the door. I’ll go see who it is. Must be the guys. You better hurry, Kame!”
With that the older one practically dashed out the door.
“Yo, bakanishi! You are here early!” Maru called out to Jin as he brushed past him.Koki, Junno and Ueda followed him.
“Don’t close the door yet,” Ueda called out to Jin.”A small Osakan devil is about to make his appearance.”
Jin blinked, “eh?”
Just then, Ryo walked in. He was followed by the rest of NEWS, except for Yamapi.
“Hey moron.”
Jin glared at him.
“Fucking asshole.”
Ryo smirked.
“Only Tegoshi’s”
Tegoshi who was just behind Ryo blushed completely.
“R…Ryo-san!”
Ryo grinned as he wrapped an arm around Tegoshi.
“We are an item now!” he declared.
“Poor Tego-kun.” Ueda muttered under his breadth as he elegantly sat down on the sofa.
Ryo just glowered at him.
“Fish lips!”
Ueda just sighed.
“Yes, whatever.”
Koyama rolled his eyes. He gave Tegoshi a silent order who then tried to distract the boy with a kiss.Ryo immediately calmed down.
“Ryo -chan, lets go play games with Junno ne?”
“Hai,”
The whole group watched in disbelief as Ryo walked meekly behind Tegoshi to where Junno was sitting with the game controls.Jin shook his head.
“I never thought I’d see the day when Ryo would be …would be…”
He tried to find a word.
“Henpecked?” Koyama suggested helpfully.
“Tamed?” Massuda suggested as well.
“In love?” Shige commented in his quiet way.
Ueda looked around the group.
“Koyama -san? Where is Tomo- chan?”
Koyama smiled at him.
“He’s parking the car, he’ll be up soon.”
Ueda nodded.
“Speaking of Pi,” Ryo called out over his shoulder. “What exactly happened to him back the hotel?”
“What are you talking about?” Kame asked as he walked out the bedroom.
“Well” Koyama shrugged. “He’s different now”
Maru cocked his head at him.
“Different?”
Massuda looked up at him from where he was lying on the floor.
“Yeah, well.He hasn’t had sex with any of us since he came back.” He said simply.
A silence settled over the room.Tegoshi groaned,
“You always say the worst thing at the most awkward times.”
“But it is true.”
The group turned to look at Shige who looked up from his laptop.
“I think he even gave up his sex files collection.”
Ryo gasped.
“No way.”
Junno nodded without taking his eyes off the TV.
“It’s true, he did give it up.”
Koki smacked Junno’s head.
“How do you know?”
Junno didn’t answer as he pretended to concentrate on the game.
“”Anou,” Koyama called out to him. “We know you are trying to avoid the question.”
“Am not.”
“You are ahou!” Ryo snapped. “Your computer character hasn’t moved and Tego- Kun is actually winning.”
“Ryo- kun!”
“Junno?” Ueda said his name quietly. “He gave the files to you didn’t he?”
Junno shifted uncomfortably.
“Yup.” He said softly.
The silent which had been making its way out, sighed to itself and came back in.
Jin chuckled.
“I don’t believe it. What IS Yamapi up too?”
Tegoshi shrugged.
“Don’t know. He smiles a lot to himself.”
Ueda stiffened.
“He seems happy and sad all at the same time.” Massuda continued.
Ueda studied his fingernails uncomfortably.Kame and Maru looked at him curiously.
Koyama sighed.
“He takes his coffee black now!”
“NO WAY!” Jin gasped. “He hates black coffee.”
Ryo nodded in agreement.
“He still does. You should the grimace he makes. But he still does it.”
Ueda started biting his lips.
“I like my coffee black.” He said it almost to himself.
Only Kame who sat by his feet heard him. Koyama sat down next to Koki.
“That why we asked if anything out of the ordinary happened to him.”
The Kat tun members exchanged glances. They had already agreed earlier that it would be better that their wishes stayed a secret - including Yamapi’s.Jin suddenly sat up.
“Wait.OH my god! I know what is wrong! The abstinence can mean only one thing!”
He looked at everyone with wide eyes.Ueda held his breadth.
“He is going to become a monk.”
Even the silence wanted face palm itself.
“Once a Baka, always a baka!” Ryo muttered to Tegoshi.
Junno and Tego nodded in agreement without taking their eyes off the TV screen.Kame gave Ueda a sly look.
“OR maybe” he quipped. “He’s in love.”
The NEWS sat in silence as they absorbed it. They burst out laughing.
“Impossible! Who would he fall in love with?” Cackled Koyama. “Koki?”
The Kat-ton members shook their heads.
“Um? Maru?” Koyama laughed a little quietly now.
The boys shook their heads again except for Ueda and Jin who still seemed to be lost in his own ‘Pi is a monk’ Theory.
“HIM?” Ryo pointed to Junno in disbelief.
“Nope.” Kame declared.
All eyes turned to Ueda, who started.
“WH…What?” he asked tersely.
“Oh no!” Massuda sat up. “AKAMEPI!”
Kame blinked at him.
“Huh?”
Ueda slouched into his seat in relief.
“Akamepi.” Shige repeated. “Like in the fanfictions.It involves Kame, Jin AND Pi in usually in some kind of love triangle or doing some sex stuff together.”
Maru stared at him.
“You are kidding right?”
Shige shook his head solemnly. He tapped something on his laptop and then offered it to him.
“Here. Look at this fic.It is an AkamePi.”
Koyama stared at him.
“You weren’t studying?”
Shige shook his head.
“Nope,”
“All this time you were reading fan fictions about us?”
“Yup.”
Massuda grinned brightly.
“He even bookmarks certain fanfiction ‘cos they are incomplete. And he wants to read them later.”
Shige just smiled as Ryo stared at Massuda in disbelief.
“And you know about this because…”
“He is my beta.”
Ryo blinked at him.
“Beta?”
Shige nodded.
“I read his fan fictions and correct them. Then he posts them up in certain LJ communities.”
Koyama glanced at them both. He pointed to Massuda.
“You write fan fictions. About us.”
The boy nodded. He pointed to Shige next.
“And you proof read them?”
Shige grinned.Koyama looked devastated.
“And you guys never told me.”
Shige patted him on his shoulder.
“Anyway you know now.” He consoled.
He looked around the group.
“So you guys want to read the fan fic or what?” he asked, pointing to his lap top.
The boys crowded around him in disbelief.Kame gasped.
“It’s rated R!”
Shige smirked.
“It should be with that level of smut!”
The boys read over each other’s shoulder quietly for a few minutes.Kame started blushing furiously.
“Why am I tied up?” he murmured the question more to himself.
Jin read a little more and then he gasped.
“How do they know I kiss you there?” he whined.
The NEWS boys stiffened for a second before whistling and clapping.
“You guys finally got together?” Ryo asked grinning.
He saw the shy smile on Kame’s face and laughed.
“About time too.”
“What about time?” a new voice asked.
Ueda froze as he turned to gaze at Yamapi.
Yamapi just grinned at them.
“Kon Kon.”

Jin grabbed the boy.
“Pi! You can’t! You mustn’t!”
Yamapi stared at him shock.
“I shouldn’t?”
Jin shook his head firmly.
“Absolutely not!”
“B…But, I really want to!”
“No!”
“Jin…Why can’t I eat my breakfast now?
Jin blinked.
“What are you talking about?”
Yamapi held up a plastic bag.
“Brakfast.What are YOU talking about now, Bakanishi?
“Monkhood.”
Yamapi cocked his head at him in confusion.
“Come again?”
“I thought you were going to become a monk…” Jin’s voice trailed away.
Yamapi shrugged Jin’s hands off his shoulders.
“What ever gave you that idea?”
Jin looked helplessly at the rest who were now sniggering quietly. He pouted when he realized his lover was also doing so.
“Well, you gave up your sex files collection and you’ve abstained from sex…”
Yamapi chuckled.
“So that means I’m gong to become a monk?”
Jin shrugged.
“It doesn’t?”
Yamapi grinned.
“I’m not turning to monkhood.”
“What does it mean then?” a voice interrupted them.
The boys turned to look at Ueda.Ueda crossed his arms across his chest.
“What does it mean?” he repeated again.
Yamapi smiled sweetly at him.
“I’m not sure.”
Ueda bit his lips. The others stared at them both uncomfortably not knowing what to say or do. All…except for Kame who had a small smile on his face. He stood up.
“Why don’t we all get some breakfast?” he suggested, breaking the tension.
Koyama smiled.
“Sounds great.”
The others murmured their assent as well.Jin started biting his fingernail nervously.
“I’ll go and make us some scrambled eggs and coffee.”
Kame started walking to his kitchen.
“I’ll help!” Maru got up too.
Jin ran to stand in front of the kitchen door.
“Wait!”
Kame frowned at him.Jin gave a nervous smile,
“Lets order take out!” he suggested desperately.
“Demo,” Junno spoke up. “I like Kame’s cooking.”
Ryo nodded as did the others. Kame’s frowned deeper as he saw the panic in Jin’s face.
“Jin? What were you doing earlier before I woke up?”
“I …I…”
“Eh?” Maru blinked at Kame.
“He was here that early?”
“Actually,” Tegoshi gave a sly grin. “I think he never left.”
Koki scratched his head.
“How do you know that?” he asked.
Tegoshi giggled as Ryo watched him in adoration.
“Because Jin is wearing Kame’s shirt. And it is kinda small on him.”
Jin blushed as all eyes focused on his top. It was indeed slightly small for him. He tried to pull it down a little to hide his tummy. Koki grinned.
“Hentai JIN!”
The rest chuckled,
“EWWWW!”
Jin just pouted.
“How long have you been staying here?” Pi asked.
His friend simply blushed and said nothing.Ueda shook his head disapprovingly.
“You mean to say you have been staying here since we got back.How could you inconvenience Kame like that?”
Kame smiled.
“I fine with it, Tat-chan.In fact it was my idea. As long as he stays out of the kitchen…”
His voice trailed away as he remembered the kitchen.Kame stared at Jin who was panicking again.
“You tried to cook something didn’t you?”
Jin glanced tearfully at him.
“Yes?” he admitted in a small voice.
Kame’s expression was unreadable.
“What did you try to cook?”
Jin bit his lower lip.
“Are you going to kick me out?” he countered instead.
Kame studied the other. Suddenly he reached out and pinched Jin’s nose.
“Who would kick out such a cute lover like you?”
Jin almost collapsed in relief.Kame smiled to himself. He knew Jin never meant any harm. Even if Jin burnt his whole house down, Kame knew he would forgive him.He loved Jin too much.Besides he guessed what Jin had been trying to do.
“You were trying to make me breakfast in bed, weren’t you?”
“Jin? How bad is the damage?” he asked gently.
Jin looked up and smiled more confidently. He allowed Kame to walk in. The others followed him as well.
“Not that bad. I only burned one thing!”
Koki sighed.
“You say it like it is something to be proud of.”
Junno giggled.
“Actually in his case it is isn’t it? Usually the whole kitchen is smoky and there would be soot on the walls and stuff!”
Yamapi nodded thoughtfully.
“Yeah, in his case, burning only one thing is a record!”
They walked in ignoring the pouting Jin .Kame stood staring at his coffeemaker.
“You burned the coffee?”
.Maru started howling in laughter.
“Oh god, Jin! How the hell did you actually mange to burn coffee?”
Ryo sniggered.
“That is record alright.I have never heard of anyone who can burn coffee!”
The whole kitchen was filled with guffaws and teasing. It took a few seconds before they realized that both Ueda and Yamapi were missing.

Yamapi was still chuckling as he followed Ueda out to Kame’s balcony.
“I think Jin is only one in this whole wide world who can actually burn coffee.”
He stopped laughing when he realized Ueda wasn’t joining him. He studied the slim figure in front of him. How he wished he could wrap his arms around Ueda! Ever since the date, Yamapi had not been able to get Ueda out of his mind. He wished he could go on another date with him and wake up in the morning with him in his arms. Yamapi could no longer bear to look at another guy. In his mind even thinking of someone else was like being unfaithful to Ueda even though Ueda was not his boyfriend. Anyway no other guy could even compare to him in Yamapi’s mind. In fact he missed so much, he even drank his coffee black like Ueda - just so he could pretend Ueda was near him. His heart was slamming against the ribcage. He wondered if Ueda could hear it.Ueda gave him a quick glace before looking away. He hugged himself.
“What does it mean, Pi?” Ueda asked him softly.
Yamapi scratched his head.
“What does what mean?”
“Your behavior?”
“My…behavior?”
Ueda nodded.
“Koyama said that you…haven’t...”
He blushed.Yamapi resisted the urge to hug the boy.
“I haven’t….”he prompted the other.
Ueda flushed deeper.
“You know…sex”
Yamapi smiled as he realized what Ueda was trying to say.
“Ah.The abstinence thing.”
Ueda nodded. He went on quickly.
“And you gave away your…files…”
Yamapi nodded and grinned,
“My sex files? Yeah, I gave them to Junno.Why? Did you want them?”
Ueda glared at him.
“Of course not!”
Yamapi chuckled.Ueda studied his fingernails, his anger from a minute ago deflated.
“And Togo said you smiled a lot and Massu said you look sad and happy at the same time. And ...And Koyama says you drink your coffee black…like me.”
He said the last bit softly. Yamapi smiled gently.
“Why do you want to know, Tat-chan?”
Ueda bit his lips as he looked into Yamapi’s eyes.Yamapi had to mentally shake himself so as not to drown in those eyes.
“Because…I’ve been like that too ever since our date. I’m happy and sad at the same time and I’ve been eating my toast with butter - like you and I never liked buttered toast before but now I do…I don’t know what that means.”
Yamapi stared at the graceful boy. He wondered if there was a chance that Ueda was feeling the same way as him.
“I…”
He never got to finish his sentence as Ueda closed the distance between them and kissed him gently on the lips.Yamapi reacted almost in reflex. He wrapped his hands around the slim body and pulled him closer.Yamapi bit back a moan as he tasted Ueda.Ueda wrapped his hands around Yamapi’s neck .Yamapi felt the cool fingers playing with the tendrils of hairs at the nape of his neck. He pulled back to stared at Ueda’s flushed face.
“Tat-chan?”
The other avoided his gaze.Yamapi rubbed his back soothingly.
“I thought you were straight.”
“I am.” Ueda replied.
“Oh.”
Yamapi felt disappointed and confused. He started to pull away from the embrace. But Ueda tightened his hold around his neck.
“I am straight.” He repeated as he stared into Yamapi’s eyes. “I am not attracted to other guys.”
He blushed again when Yamapi stared into his eyes.
“But I’m in love with you. And technically love is blind. So that means this is okay?”
Yamapi chuckled at the boy’s logic.
“I guess so.”
Ueda grinned.Yamapi nuzzled his nose.
“So you love me, huh?”
Ueda nodded.
“I haven’t stopped thinking of you!”
A sudden thought entered Ueda’s mind.
“How about you? Do you love me too…that’s why you were going through the same things right?”
Yamapi smiled playfully at him.
“I think I’ll let my lips answer that.”
Ueda sighed as he leaned towards the other for another kiss.
Kame smiled to himself as he looked them.
“Come on you guys,” he whispered to the rest as he and Koyama ushered them away from the balcony.
”Let’s go get breakfast.”
He wanted to give the two lovebirds a little privacy. However his plan was thwarted by Jin’s loud shriek.
“Oh my god! Ryo! you pervert! What the hell are you doing to Tegoshi on Kame’s bed?”

2 weeks later…
Jin looked up from the magazine he was reading. He smiled as Kame placed the phone down and straddled Jin.Jin tossed the magazine aside.
“Who was that on the phone?”
Kame kissed him.
“Ryo…he just wanted me feed his fish while he’s away.”
Jin stopped unbuttoning his lover’s shirt.
“Away? Where is he going?”
Kame arched his back as he felt Jin’s fingers on his chest.
“I don’t know.” He moaned. “Something about the new Kanjani 8 show.”
“Mmmhhhmmm”
Kame gasped as he felt Jin’s hands kneading his hips. He ground his pelvis against Jin’s which elicited a groan from the latter.
“He said something about a wishing well and special rice paper.and …ahhh Jiiin!…..wishes …come through only….I liked that!God!Jin do that again!hah!…. The wishes last only a day….” Kame stated in between pants and moans.
“Really?” Jin murmured against the others neck. “Sounds like our holiday.”
Kame could only nod.
They continued making out for a few more minutes before the impact of their conversation hit them. They stared at each other.
“OH NOOOOO!”

“Don’t know. He smiles a lot to himself.”
Ueda stiffened.
“He seems happy and sad all at the same time.” Massuda continued.
Ueda studied his fingernails uncomfortably.Kame and Maru looked at him curiously.
Koyama sighed.
“He takes his coffee black now!”
“NO WAY!” Jin gasped. “He hates black coffee.”
Ryo nodded in agreement.
“He still does. You should the grimace he makes. But he still does it.”
Ueda started biting his lips.
“I like my coffee black.” He said it almost to himself.
Only Kame who sat by his feet heard him. Koyama sat down next to Koki.
“That why we asked if anything out of the ordinary happened to him.”
The Kat tun members exchanged glances. They had already agreed earlier that it would be better that their wishes stayed a secret - including Yamapi’s.Jin suddenly sat up.
“Wait.OH my god! I know what is wrong! The abstinence can mean only one thing!”
He looked at everyone with wide eyes.Ueda held his breadth.
“He is going to become a monk.”
Even the silence wanted face palm itself.
“Once a Baka, always a baka!” Ryo muttered to Tegoshi.
Junno and Tego nodded in agreement without taking their eyes off the TV screen.Kame gave Ueda a sly look.
“OR maybe” he quipped. “He’s in love.”
The NEWS sat in silence as they absorbed it. They burst out laughing.
“Impossible! Who would he fall in love with?” Cackled Koyama. “Koki?”
The Kat-ton members shook their heads.
“Um? Maru?” Koyama laughed a little quietly now.
The boys shook their heads again except for Ueda and Jin who still seemed to be lost in his own ‘Pi is a monk’ Theory.
“HIM?” Ryo pointed to Junno in disbelief.
“Nope.” Kame declared.
All eyes turned to Ueda, who started.
“WH…What?” he asked tersely.
“Oh no!” Massuda sat up. “AKAMEPI!”
Kame blinked at him.
“Huh?”
Ueda slouched into his seat in relief.
“Akamepi.” Shige repeated. “Like in the fanfictions.It involves Kame, Jin AND Pi in usually in some kind of love triangle or doing some sex stuff together.”
Maru stared at him.
“You are kidding right?”
Shige shook his head solemnly. He tapped something on his laptop and then offered it to him.
“Here. Look at this fic.It is an AkamePi.”
Koyama stared at him.
“You weren’t studying?”
Shige shook his head.
“Nope,”
“All this time you were reading fan fictions about us?”
“Yup.”
Massuda grinned brightly.
“He even bookmarks certain fanfiction ‘cos they are incomplete. And he wants to read them later.”
Shige just smiled as Ryo stared at Massuda in disbelief.
“And you know about this because…”
“He is my beta.”
Ryo blinked at him.
“Beta?”
Shige nodded.
“I read his fan fictions and correct them. Then he posts them up in certain LJ communities.”
Koyama glanced at them both. He pointed to Massuda.
“You write fan fictions. About us.”
The boy nodded. He pointed to Shige next.
“And you proof read them?”
Shige grinned.Koyama looked devastated.
“And you guys never told me.”
Shige patted him on his shoulder.
“Anyway you know now.” He consoled.
He looked around the group.
“So you guys want to read the fan fic or what?” he asked, pointing to his lap top.
The boys crowded around him in disbelief.Kame gasped.
“It’s rated R!”
Shige smirked.
“It should be with that level of smut!”
The boys read over each other’s shoulder quietly for a few minutes.Kame started blushing furiously.
“Why am I tied up?” he murmured the question more to himself.
Jin read a little more and then he gasped.
“How do they know I kiss you there?” he whined.
The NEWS boys stiffened for a second before whistling and clapping.
“You guys finally got together?” Ryo asked grinning.
He saw the shy smile on Kame’s face and laughed.
“About time too.”
“What about time?” a new voice asked.
Ueda froze as he turned to gaze at Yamapi.
Yamapi just grinned at them.
“Kon Kon.”

Jin grabbed the boy.
“Pi! You can’t! You mustn’t!”
Yamapi stared at him shock.
“I shouldn’t?”
Jin shook his head firmly.
“Absolutely not!”
“B…But, I really want to!”
“No!”
“Jin…Why can’t I eat my breakfast now?
Jin blinked.
“What are you talking about?”
Yamapi held up a plastic bag.
“Brakfast.What are YOU talking about now, Bakanishi?
“Monkhood.”
Yamapi cocked his head at him in confusion.
“Come again?”
“I thought you were going to become a monk…” Jin’s voice trailed away.
Yamapi shrugged Jin’s hands off his shoulders.
“What ever gave you that idea?”
Jin looked helplessly at the rest who were now sniggering quietly. He pouted when he realized his lover was also doing so.
“Well, you gave up your sex files collection and you’ve abstained from sex…”
Yamapi chuckled.
“So that means I’m gong to become a monk?”
Jin shrugged.
“It doesn’t?”
Yamapi grinned.
“I’m not turning to monkhood.”
“What does it mean then?” a voice interrupted them.
The boys turned to look at Ueda.Ueda crossed his arms across his chest.
“What does it mean?” he repeated again.
Yamapi smiled sweetly at him.
“I’m not sure.”
Ueda bit his lips. The others stared at them both uncomfortably not knowing what to say or do. All…except for Kame who had a small smile on his face. He stood up.
“Why don’t we all get some breakfast?” he suggested, breaking the tension.
Koyama smiled.
“Sounds great.”
The others murmured their assent as well.Jin started biting his fingernail nervously.
“I’ll go and make us some scrambled eggs and coffee.”
Kame started walking to his kitchen.
“I’ll help!” Maru got up too.
Jin ran to stand in front of the kitchen door.
“Wait!”
Kame frowned at him.Jin gave a nervous smile,
“Lets order take out!” he suggested desperately.
“Demo,” Junno spoke up. “I like Kame’s cooking.”
Ryo nodded as did the others. Kame’s frowned deeper as he saw the panic in Jin’s face.
“Jin? What were you doing earlier before I woke up?”
“I …I…”
“Eh?” Maru blinked at Kame.
“He was here that early?”
“Actually,” Tegoshi gave a sly grin. “I think he never left.”
Koki scratched his head.
“How do you know that?” he asked.
Tegoshi giggled as Ryo watched him in adoration.
“Because Jin is wearing Kame’s shirt. And it is kinda small on him.”
Jin blushed as all eyes focused on his top. It was indeed slightly small for him. He tried to pull it down a little to hide his tummy. Koki grinned.
“Hentai JIN!”
The rest chuckled,
“EWWWW!”
Jin just pouted.
“How long have you been staying here?” Pi asked.
His friend simply blushed and said nothing.Ueda shook his head disapprovingly.
“You mean to say you have been staying here since we got back.How could you inconvenience Kame like that?”
Kame smiled.
“I fine with it, Tat-chan.In fact it was my idea. As long as he stays out of the kitchen…”
His voice trailed away as he remembered the kitchen.Kame stared at Jin who was panicking again.
“You tried to cook something didn’t you?”
Jin glanced tearfully at him.
“Yes?” he admitted in a small voice.
Kame’s expression was unreadable.
“What did you try to cook?”
Jin bit his lower lip.
“Are you going to kick me out?” he countered instead.
Kame studied the other. Suddenly he reached out and pinched Jin’s nose.
“Who would kick out such a cute lover like you?”
Jin almost collapsed in relief.Kame smiled to himself. He knew Jin never meant any harm. Even if Jin burnt his whole house down, Kame knew he would forgive him.He loved Jin too much.Besides he guessed what Jin had been trying to do.
“You were trying to make me breakfast in bed, weren’t you?”
“Jin? How bad is the damage?” he asked gently.
Jin looked up and smiled more confidently. He allowed Kame to walk in. The others followed him as well.
“Not that bad. I only burned one thing!”
Koki sighed.
“You say it like it is something to be proud of.”
Junno giggled.
“Actually in his case it is isn’t it? Usually the whole kitchen is smoky and there would be soot on the walls and stuff!”
Yamapi nodded thoughtfully.
“Yeah, in his case, burning only one thing is a record!”
They walked in ignoring the pouting Jin .Kame stood staring at his coffeemaker.
“You burned the coffee?”
.Maru started howling in laughter.
“Oh god, Jin! How the hell did you actually mange to burn coffee?”
Ryo sniggered.
“That is record alright.I have never heard of anyone who can burn coffee!”
The whole kitchen was filled with guffaws and teasing. It took a few seconds before they realized that both Ueda and Yamapi were missing.

Yamapi was still chuckling as he followed Ueda out to Kame’s balcony.
“I think Jin is only one in this whole wide world who can actually burn coffee.”
He stopped laughing when he realized Ueda wasn’t joining him. He studied the slim figure in front of him. How he wished he could wrap his arms around Ueda! Ever since the date, Yamapi had not been able to get Ueda out of his mind. He wished he could go on another date with him and wake up in the morning with him in his arms. Yamapi could no longer bear to look at another guy. In his mind even thinking of someone else was like being unfaithful to Ueda even though Ueda was not his boyfriend. Anyway no other guy could even compare to him in Yamapi’s mind. In fact he missed so much, he even drank his coffee black like Ueda - just so he could pretend Ueda was near him. His heart was slamming against the ribcage. He wondered if Ueda could hear it.Ueda gave him a quick glace before looking away. He hugged himself.
“What does it mean, Pi?” Ueda asked him softly.
Yamapi scratched his head.
“What does what mean?”
“Your behavior?”
“My…behavior?”
Ueda nodded.
“Koyama said that you…haven’t...”
He blushed.Yamapi resisted the urge to hug the boy.
“I haven’t….”he prompted the other.
Ueda flushed deeper.
“You know…sex”
Yamapi smiled as he realized what Ueda was trying to say.
“Ah.The abstinence thing.”
Ueda nodded. He went on quickly.
“And you gave away your…files…”
Yamapi nodded and grinned,
“My sex files? Yeah, I gave them to Junno.Why? Did you want them?”
Ueda glared at him.
“Of course not!”
Yamapi chuckled.Ueda studied his fingernails, his anger from a minute ago deflated.
“And Togo said you smiled a lot and Massu said you look sad and happy at the same time. And ...And Koyama says you drink your coffee black…like me.”
He said the last bit softly. Yamapi smiled gently.
“Why do you want to know, Tat-chan?”
Ueda bit his lips as he looked into Yamapi’s eyes.Yamapi had to mentally shake himself so as not to drown in those eyes.
“Because…I’ve been like that too ever since our date. I’m happy and sad at the same time and I’ve been eating my toast with butter - like you and I never liked buttered toast before but now I do…I don’t know what that means.”
Yamapi stared at the graceful boy. He wondered if there was a chance that Ueda was feeling the same way as him.
“I…”
He never got to finish his sentence as Ueda closed the distance between them and kissed him gently on the lips.Yamapi reacted almost in reflex. He wrapped his hands around the slim body and pulled him closer.Yamapi bit back a moan as he tasted Ueda.Ueda wrapped his hands around Yamapi’s neck .Yamapi felt the cool fingers playing with the tendrils of hairs at the nape of his neck. He pulled back to stared at Ueda’s flushed face.
“Tat-chan?”
The other avoided his gaze.Yamapi rubbed his back soothingly.
“I thought you were straight.”
“I am.” Ueda replied.
“Oh.”
Yamapi felt disappointed and confused. He started to pull away from the embrace. But Ueda tightened his hold around his neck.
“I am straight.” He repeated as he stared into Yamapi’s eyes. “I am not attracted to other guys.”
He blushed again when Yamapi stared into his eyes.
“But I’m in love with you. And technically love is blind. So that means this is okay?”
Yamapi chuckled at the boy’s logic.
“I guess so.”
Ueda grinned.Yamapi nuzzled his nose.
“So you love me, huh?”
Ueda nodded.
“I haven’t stopped thinking of you!”
A sudden thought entered Ueda’s mind.
“How about you? Do you love me too…that’s why you were going through the same things right?”
Yamapi smiled playfully at him.
“I think I’ll let my lips answer that.”
Ueda sighed as he leaned towards the other for another kiss.
Kame smiled to himself as he looked them.
“Come on you guys,” he whispered to the rest as he and Koyama ushered them away from the balcony.
”Let’s go get breakfast.”
He wanted to give the two lovebirds a little privacy. However his plan was thwarted by Jin’s loud shriek.
“Oh my god! Ryo! you pervert! What the hell are you doing to Tegoshi on Kame’s bed?”

2 weeks later…
Jin looked up from the magazine he was reading. He smiled as Kame placed the phone down and straddled Jin.Jin tossed the magazine aside.
“Who was that on the phone?”
Kame kissed him.
“Ryo…he just wanted me feed his fish while he’s away.”
Jin stopped unbuttoning his lover’s shirt.
“Away? Where is he going?”
Kame arched his back as he felt Jin’s fingers on his chest.
“I don’t know.” He moaned. “Something about the new Kanjani 8 show.”
“Mmmhhhmmm”
Kame gasped as he felt Jin’s hands kneading his hips. He ground his pelvis against Jin’s which elicited a groan from the latter.
“He said something about a wishing well and special rice paper.and …ahhh Jiiin!…..wishes …come through only….I liked that!God!Jin do that again!hah!…. The wishes last only a day….” Kame stated in between pants and moans.
“Really?” Jin murmured against the others neck. “Sounds like our holiday.”
Kame could only nod.
They continued making out for a few more minutes before the impact of their conversation hit them. They stared at each other.
“OH NOOOOO!”
