For my behavior this week past? I apologize.
[Yes, that apology even extends to you dear Uncle Golby for the snotty reply and absolutely applies to Rydia and even Kain to some degree. In fact, anyone he's been rude, cruel or just grumpy with will be someone he's actively seeking out to offer a personal apology. He's done with running from his

[Going to risk eternal damnation for not being repentant enough, but he reaches for her hand anyway. He's still angry he walked out on her when she was ill and needed help.]
You are the best thing that's happened to me.
My parents... they saved the world. My whole life, they've been idolized and admired. Nobody sees me, they see them. No matter where I go, people hold me up against them. Only half of them even know my name. To most, I'm "the son of Cecil and Rosa." Those who do? They have expectations I'm not sure I'll ever meet, expectations based on who they are. I can't get away from it.
Then I met you. And you see me. Not my parents, not my rank, not the amazing things I'm expected to do that will outshine them. You make me happy.
... and I was horrid to you.

Oh Ceodore... Make your own path. I hardly know your Father and I've never met your Mother. And like I said before, I don't care if you're a prince.
[And while they're sharing secrets, she'll share one of her own similar to his.]
When I was younger, there was a war and my parents died. Because of this, I was raised in an Orphanage and there were a lot of people who thought that we'd never amount to anything. Now, I'm an elite mercenary who gets to do all kinds of exciting things and meet all kinds of interesting people. So I get where you're coming from but I say to hell with living up to their expectations. Sometimes, you really need to do what you think is right.
And to me, you're just plain old silly Ceodore who needs to stop comparing himself to his parents.

I will make this up to you, even if it does take the rest of my life.
Will you allow me to take you home? You're still ill and I want to take care of you, as I should have done already.

I don't think it'll take that long.
As for going home... [Selphie coughs again.] Can I pick out a room of my own? [She really doesn't want Cecil walking in on her changing clothes again. Once was awkward enough.]

Of course, there's a few you can pick from.
[Too bad sharing a room hasn't entered his mind.]

[Selphie wouldn't feel comfortable sharing a room yet. Baby steps Ceodore, baby steps!]

[He's going to be stubborn about this. His sweetie is unhealthy and magic can't cure a cold, but TLC can.]

You're sticking me in bed aren't you?
