Who cooks normally? I think they'd both do the cooking. Though I can see Roy doing it more for some reason. But mostly I see them going out/getting take out because they're too worn out from their busy schedules to cook.
How often do they fight? I can't see them seriously fighting much. Though annoying each other to death daily, or Hughes annoying Roy, rather? Oh yeah. Often. *snicker*
What do they do when they're away from each other? Wooooork.
Nicknames for each other? Ahaha, now I just wanna hear Maes call him Roy-boy. Really though, I dunno. Maes would be the one with the nickname for Roy though, definitely. If only to annoy him!
Who is more likely to pay for dinner? That's another one of those things I think they'd both share.
Who steals the covers at night? Ooh, I've never thought about that one. ...I think Roy would be a cover stealer. That fire/warmth thing.
What would they get each other for gifts? I have a feeling it'd have something to do with pictures.
Who kissed who first? Roy kissed Maes.

You know I did a whole series of these two in the Academy with mjules and for the life of me I can't remember who kissed who first (I think I had it opposite of your head canon)

Definitely it would be Maes with the nickname and yeah Roy would be the cusser since in at least one of the anime (or was it the manga) when Ed was cussing a blue streak Maes commented how much like Roy that was.

How often do they fight? Ahahaha, it's Roy/Ed! Every day! Not like serious fighting though, just their normal bickering.
What do they do when they're away from each other? Save the world! *laughs* Work/missions, or in Ed's case, if he's no longer a State Alchemist, travel.
Nicknames for each other? I don't see them having serious/sweet nicknames for one another. All of the height nicknames for Ed would happen though. Probably followed by lazy, egotistical bastard type names. (Such is the love... <3)
Who is more likely to pay for dinner? Roy.
Who steals the covers at night? This is seriously something I've never though about. I have no clue. I see them as sharing them, though I could see some cover fights happening in the middle of the night.
What would they get each other for gifts? Ed would make Roy something with alchemy, and Roy would buy Ed something he was wanting.

Who made the first move? In my headcanon, Ed makes the first move cause Roy holds himself back because of

How often do they fight? Eh, they don't fight, they spar and bicker!

Nicknames for each other? Oh man, Zhane would make up something that would absolutely drive Andros nuts just to see how long it would take for Andros to say something about it. Probably something terribly embarrassing or just plain annoying, like "Cuddlebunny" or "Mr. Broody-Pants".
Who is more likely to pay for dinner? *laughs* My initial reaction was "Rangers don't pay for things! (Unless they're on Earth, cause they're weird.)" -Personal headcanon. But, I think Andros would once he figured out the monetary system of whatever planet they're on, simply because Zhane wouldn't think about it. (Until Andros pulled out the money and then he'd probably make the effort to figure it out and pay the next time.) Although--I'm totally getting all deep in thought about this now!--I could feasibly see that going the other way around, and Zhane
