That's sort of awesome...at least the part about you getting the job. Matt-Matt and I were worried about who was going to be the benefit provider for the house of BadGeography but a full time U job ought to cover that. Buuuut...y'all don't need the angst of having only one income. It sucks mighty suckage, believe you me!

Laidoff-a-palooza went as well as a laidoff-a-palooza party can go. We had booz and "decorate your own voodoo boss cookies" as well as chicken fingers and movie watching.

Well, it's not a U job, but it has reasonable benefits. I'll just be on pins and needles until the offer letter gets here...

The cookies were tasty. I stole some, but did not decorate them. And they were a totally brilliant idea. They might make for a good election day party item, too.

Well spank me silly, I could have sworn you were working for the engineering school here at the U. I guess I need to listen more and jump to conclusions less. Still, grats on full time employment.

Well... it's not a dream job, by any means. But I don't hate it, nobody is asking me to forge legal documents, and people often get my jokes. This might be all I can ask for, realistically.
