Ugh.,..

Okay, so I've been having some problems. Not real problems, mind you... INTERNET problems. Over on the wanking communities, people are flaming me because I said I understood how bad gay people feel, and I sympathise. HOLY CRAP. I have NO IDEA how they feel. Because I don't know any gay people, I hate them, and I don't understand what it's like to ( Read more... )

Also, kissing in public is rude, and is punishable by death.

Is this a response to an entry I made last night?

lol No...

I was talking about how people say "get a room" blah blah blah, and people got CRAZY. They were like, "It's fucking rude!" and "I don't wanna see that shit!"

Kinda sad, really. If more people were kissing, and less people were fighting, the world would be a happier place.

I agree. Kissing is one thing. Making out, or trying to pounce him in public IS rude. There are jealous poeple in the world. There are poeple that truly hate valentine's day becuase it reminds them how painfully lonely they are (and it can be truly painful), and you make it feel like valentine's day every day for them.

I think it's beautiful that you're so in love, but your behavior really is inappropriate.

And boondocks is pretty lame. It's like, it's ALMOST good. But falls short on every joke it tries to make.

I hate the idea of having to tone down everything because other people are sad, because it makes me feel like a jerk for not toning it down in the first place, and it also feels like I'm cencoring myself.

However, perhaps like the author of the Boondocks, cencorship can make your work better? I might have to try it, but it feels so wrong.

Sorry to be posting on an old entry, but I felt like saying that I know exactly how you feel. I was pretty much flogged on FW for saying that I've seen people saying they're gay to be trendy and I didn't like it because I think they're mocking the pain and problems my gay friends went through. I was called ignorant to "what gay people are" and called homophobic because, apparently, what I really think is that "all gay people are gay to be trendy" and that since I don't like that, I'm scared of all gay people.

So, regardless of whether you agree with me on trendiness, I'm really just here to say I understand completely on how you felt.

Also, sorry if I'm bringing up a bad memory. ^^;

No no, it's all good! I understand what you're saying. I'm not down with the trendy gayness, either. I mean, being gay shouldn't be "in style". It's how you are. That's like having the a race be in style. It's not like gay people chose to be gay because it matches their shoes.
