Current Things I hate

1.) knitting tiny things

2.) knitting with beads on said tiny things

3.) using the flexible cords with caps at the end as straight needles because I don't have size 4 needles

4.) and it's all made even  worse by the fact that my 2 smaller size cords are occupied with other projects and I'm left with the much longer sweater size ones so they all get ( Read more... )

I'm knitting a tiny scarf and booties for a stuffed animal. They're for a friend so after I've sent them to her I'll post pics. She's actually on my flist so I don't want to do it till then. But she's probably going to read this post and be spoiled anyways. lol

i want someone to write a pattern for a knitted adipose mostly because I'm too lazy to do one myself.

I'm a bit too young for Tom Baker's Doctor but I've seen pics of that scarf and it is freakishly long. But it would be totally cool to knit.

I hate circular needles ALL THE TIME. Hate them. I'd rather work on 4+ needles in the round than use circular.

That adipose baby is knitted and would probably be really easy to duplicate. It looks like it's just a sealed tube with the hands and feet stitched on.

I actually love circular needles. But I definitely hate them when i'm using them as flexible straight needles. Especially since there are only 14 stitches that I'm working with. I wish I had more DPNs in different sizes. I think I only have sizes 5, 6, 7, and 8. And I believe I have another size 6 in bamboo (which I SO prefer to metal needles)

As for the adipose baby, I could probably do just that but I like the pattern that the crocheting does.

Ughhh. I just knitted a Dalek on circular needles (my only dpns are 4 and 6 and I was using 9) and it was wretched. As the thing got smaller I inevitably ended up switching to the dpns and knitting loosely.

But DW knitting is AWESOME. :D

I want to knit a dalek too. But as I was looking over the pattern I'm dreading some of the techniques used: my bobbles always come out looking funny, seeming pieces and sewing appendages on is beyond me. At least I can do somewhat good jogless stripes. I've been perfecting it on my Harry Potter scarf. In the mean time I'm going to knit this super cute dalek wahcloth. More bobbles though :( lol

Haha, I also overstuffed my Dalek. We call him Fat Dalek or Tubby Dalek. Those are his names.

I've been knitting since, like, seventh grade? So I'm all about doing little dollies and stuff. In fact, I need to post pictures of all my Christmas presents...

But yes! I saw that Dalek washcloth and it's just PRECIOUS.

I really want to start knitting dolls.

I've only been knitting since junior year of college. So a few years. I wish I could devote more of my energies to learn more techniques but I get bored quickly so I usually land up putting my knitting down for a few months before getting inspired again.

Yes you should post pics. I love pics.
