Perfect. What an absolutely perfect Kara line. I can see a pain filled Kara dreamily saying that to Lee without really realizing what she's letting him in on. Oh Kara.

I really like the thought of guilt stricken Lee going to the memorial wall. It seems like the sort of penance or self punishment he would have for himself because you know underneath everything he's just one tightly wound ball of guilt (which, when squeezed, apparently leaks oozing emo like water from a wet washcloth).

I like how sad this is, but considering the setting and the emotions they both have about each other at this point this one brief scene with them is kinda intense. Very well done Lunie. :)

Kara's lines were what came to me first and then I shaped the rest of the story around them. I like the thought of a guilty Lee too. He is definitely one to experience guilt and i can't imagine how he felt about leaving all the colonists behind.

I like how she can let something this dark spill out, with him, but yet she can't accept comfort, and, really, he doesn't know how to give it anyway, or maybe it can't be given. I also like how his guilt about New Caprica (oh, we need more fic about his guilt!) makes him stay there and watch her. Nicely done.

I always enjoyed how Kara shares some of her darker past with Sam (like in maelstrom) but she doesn't really do that with Lee. Either way she doesn't know what to do with the support they offer her.

oh guilt. lee has plenty and it definitely should be written.

This was spot on - I love the idea of Kara realizing that she once prayed for Leoben's soul and then took it over and over again with barely a thought. I also love the idea of Kara losing faith in the Gods for not coming to her aid. I don't know if she thinks she really deserves their help, but I think she would pray for it and in the back of her mind hope they came through.

I found it interesting that in one instance of Leoben's death she prayed for his soul but she probably didn't do that when she killed him htose 6 times. I would love to explore Kara's faith more so maybe if i get the time i'll write a fic about that.
