Summary: A plan how to confess turns into reality.
Notes: This is actually my first story about them. Hopefully I didn't fail...
In the room of SixTONES was it unusually quiet even it was after an exhausting rehearsal. Hokuto went home already because of his school work. The four members left cornered their half American member with the words: “You love him, don't you?”
Jesse only gulped and tried to deny it but his friends didn't listen to him at all.
“We know it. There's no need to deny it. You aren't as secret as you would like to.” said Taiga and Yugo added: “Furthermore the glances which each of you send tell more than you would think.”
“He doesn't love me. He likes Kikuchi-kun after all.” argued Jesse.
“Oh, Jesse, everyone except you like it seems know that you two like each other. Even Shin does.” explained Juri.
“Why 'even' me?!” asked said boy with a pout.
“You're the slowest if it's about this topic. Anyway, can you please confess? We can't look at you two how you're going to be love sick if you don't do anything.” stated Taiga.
Jesse was embarrassed and happy. He didn't thought anyone would notice but apparently his friends did and they sound like they don't have anything against it. However he was still unsure if and how he should confess he had still no idea how Hokuto feel about him. Surprisingly it was Shintaro who noticed his inner conflict.
“Don't worry. We wouldn't have told you this, if we hadn't a plan already. You only need to act and we will take care about everything else.” Shin put an arm around Jesse's shoulders and Jesse looked at his friends' determined faces.
After few seconds he nodded and everyone smiled at him.
“What are you going to do?” he asked and regretted his question in the same moment when he saw their faces with a mischievous grin.
“Nothing bad, really. We'll only tell Hokuto you had an accident and you're now in a coma. And that we doesn't know when you will wake up. So when he is on your bed he will confess to you.” explained Juri.
“Don't look so scared. You want to be together with him, don't you?” asked Yugo.
“Yeah, sure... but... must it be so... sad? I'm sure he is going to be seriously mad at us with we do this.” tried Jesse to convince them without success.
“The plan is going to start the day after tomorrow when we'll record Shounen Club.” informed Taiga with a serious face which doesn't accept any disagreement.
Everyone bid their goodbyes and went home.

However Jesse thought about their plan and its consequences if a it fails or a word gets out. He was so in thought he didn't notice a car which came to him until it was too late. The driver didn't saw him and couldn’t slow down anymore so the car hit the boy with full speed. The last thing Jesse thought was: “I'm sorry, Hokuto.”

On the next morning everyone wonders where their tallest member was so they asked their manager.
“Oh... yeah... Lewis-kun had an accident yesterday on his way home.” he explained with a sad face.
“Wait what?! This wasn't part of-” exclaimed Juri confused before he sank on his knees Yugo at his side to calm him down.
“That doesn't matter. What matters is that Jesse is in the hospital!” interrupted Shintaro with tears in his eyes.
“Do you know his condition?” asked Taiga the man.
He nodded not sure if he should tell them the information. Hokuto was oddly quiet since the news was told them. However this question brought him back and he walk to their manager hold him at his shirt and said angry: “You know his condition so tell us!”
“He's momentarily unconscious. The doctors don't know when and if he will wake up.”
Everyone was shocked to hear that even though they planed the confession like this yesterday. After they asked in which hospital Jesse was they ran out of the building towards said hospital.

When they got there and asked a nurse after the room in which their friend stayed they walked to it. Taiga who was the most reasonable at the moment knocked at the door which was opened from Jesses mother after a few seconds.
“Oh... come in. I'm sure Jesse would want to see you guys.” she greeted with swollen eyes from crying.
Inside Jesses dad who sat right from the bed nodded to them as greeting. The five boys looked down at the ground afraid of what they would see if they look at their friend. The first one who overcame his fear was Juri and what he saw made him regret it immediately. His always laughing and hyperactive friend was now lying on a bed like he was dead with tubes on his body for medication and nutrition. There were also machines attached to him. Slowly everyone looked at Jesse and were near tears only Hokuto seemed weirdly collected while Shintaro cried quietly. Yugo excused him and Shintaro to go out of the room and calm down their youngest member.
“How could this have happened?” asked Taiga quiet.
“The driver saw Jesse too late and couldn't slow down anymore. It seems like Jesse himself didn't notice the car and was hit. The doctors said it was a miracle that he only has one broken arm and small injuries.” explained Jesses father.
“Why is he unconscious?” asked Taiga sad.
“Apparently he hit his head. Don't worry there isn't any injury however they don't know if he is going to wake up.” answered his mother.
“I'll excuse myself now. I have an important appointment.” said Hokuto before he left the room.
“Hokuto?” asked Taiga but said guy didn't hear him.

In the meanwhile walked Hokuto to a park where he sat down on a bench.
“You idiot! Why can't you be careful? This wouldn't have happened if I was with you at this time. If I only confessed my feelings to you we would have been together at that time. Jesse... why do you have to make things difficult for me...” thought Hokuto.
He sat there till it started to rain but even then he didn't searched shelter. He only sat there with his thoughts like a statue ignoring his ringing cell phone.

“I can't reach him.” said Yugo as he tried to call Hokuto for the fourth time already.
He looked at the others but they didn't had any success. The rest of SixTONES was at his place since nobody wanted to be alone. After Yugo got a call from Hokuto's mom if he knows where her son is because he hasn't come home yet. Even though he didn't want to he lied to her and said he was with him and the others and that Hokutos battery was out.
“The only one who we didn't call yet is Fuma. Maybe he has an idea where Hokuto is or he is with him.” suggested Juri.
They agreed and called him.
“Hey Fuma, is Hokuto with you?”

In the meantime Hokuto sat still on the bench in this park but it was dark already and he didn't notice an approaching person.
“Hokuto? What are you doing here?” asked Fuma panting.
“I searched everywhere for you after Yugo called me. You made me worried.”
“Oh... Fuma...” was the only answer the older got.
“'Oh Fuma' that's it? What happened? Yugo only told me that it was something within the group.”
“It's Jesse. He... he...” stuttered Hokuto and for the first time of the day he let his emotions get the better of him.
Fuma hugged him and tried to calm his friend down which he managed after a few minutes.
“Now come on. I bring you back home.”

He started to walk but Hokuto protested and after a small discussion Fuma let him sleep at his house with the condition he'll call his parents. When they arrived at Fuma's house Hokuto first called his parents and was then ordered to shower with the argument: “I'm not going to hold the responsible if you catch a cold.”
Hokuto brought a small smile out before he went to the bathroom. When he was away Fuma called Yugo.
“He is at my house now. He was at a park where we hang out a lot in the past. Don't worry I'll watch out for him on the moment. See you!”
The call ended right before Hokuto stepped in the room again.
“Are you going to tell me now what happened? I know it's about Jesse and it must bad otherwise you wouldn't be like this.”
“Do I must tell you?” asked Hokuto like he was going to cry again soon.
“It will help. Believe me. You can take your time and explain me everything.”
Only after a short silence Hokuto began to speak.
“Ok... I love Jesse.”
“That isn't a secret. The half company knows that you two love each other already.” stated Fuma amused however his smile faltered when he saw how serious his friend was.
“Sorry. I know this isn't all continue.” he apologized.
“Yeah... this morning we wondered where he is since it isn't like him to come late for a rehearsal so we asked out manager about it.” told Hokuto and made a pause to be able to say what comes next.
“He told us... that Jesse had... had an... accident...” with this Hokuto cried again and Kikuchi understood without another word.
He knows after all how it is to see an important person get into an accident. “They don't know... if... if he will wake up...” continued Hokuto under tears.
“What should... I-I do i-if... he... he does- doesn't wa-wake up...? Fuma, what... should I... do?”
“Don't be stupid. Jesse will wake up! He loves you after all.”
“But... if I haven't been such... a coward... and confessed already... we would have... been together at that... time maybe...”
“Don't make yourself down. There no 'if's what happened happened you can't turn time back. Let's sleep and maybe Jesse wakes up tomorrow.” comfort Fuma his friend and they both went to sleep.

While Kikuchi was fast asleep Hokuto couldn't close an eye. When he was sure his friend wouldn't wake up he changes into his clothes and sneaked out of the house. He walked to the one and only destination where he was at ease. To his crush in the hospital.

Luckily the nurse checked Jesse's room when he was about to go in. After he was sure the nurse was gone he slipped into the room and walled quietly to the only bed in the room. Hokuto sat down on a chair which was next to Jesse's bed and touched Jesse's sleeping face above the oxygen mask he was wearing.
“You can't do this to me. I need you, Jesse. I love you. I know it could be too late but I wanted to say this in your face while you're awake. So please wake up so I can say it again and again... until you can't hear it anymore and scold me for it. Then I'll take your hand and... and kiss you and you're going to blush... and be embarrassed... but you still smile. Please wake up.” Hokuto took Jesses in his and kissed his forehead.
“If you want a kiss on your lips you must wake up and get it from me.” he added.
Then the boy laid his head onto the mattress and slept like this.

The first thing which Fuma noticed was that his friend was nowhere but he couldn't search for him since he had a lesson to attend so he called Yugo to tell him that Hokuto disappeared and Yugo promised to search for him with the others.
“I don't think we must search for long.” said Taiga when Yugo explained the situation for them.
“What do you mean? He could be anywhere!” argued Shintaro.
“Yeah but where do you think Hokuto will go if you're him?”
“Mh... I would go to Yugo.” answered Juri.
“And why do you would go to Yugo?” continued Taiga to ask.
“Because he's a person where I can feel at ease. I like- Oh... now I understand.” exclaimed Juri happy.
However only one member doesn't quiet understand it.
“What do you understand? Come on, guys, I'm your friend. I don't understand it, explain it to me.” demanded Shintaro.
“Who do you think Hokuto feels the most at ease?”
“Fuma maybe?”
“Baka. It's obviously Jesse.” said Juri and Yugo added with a smile: “And where is Jesse at the moment?”
“At the hospital!” exclaimed Shintaro happy and with a huge smile.
So they walked without rush to the hospital their friend stayed momentarily in.

The first thing Jesse noticed is the weight on his arm and when he opened his eyes he could see who it was who misused his arm as an pillow. However what really got his attention was his hand which was in his crush's. Slowly to not wake the sleeping boy Jesse touched his cheeks. Waking up because of this Hokuto blinked half asleep but was wide awake when he saw that Jesse was awake and looked with a small smile at him.
“Good morning.”
“Is this a dream?” asked Hokuto right back instead of a greeting.
“Why should this be a dream, silly.” laughed the injured boy still with a smile.
Before the younger could react Hokuto kissed and hugged him. He felt how his shirt was drained with tears Hokuto cried.
“Hokuto?” said Jesse with concern in his voice.
“Hey, are you alright?” he slowly freaked out a bit.
“That should I ask you, baka. Don't make me worry like this ever again.” whispered Hokuto into his shoulder.
However Jesse heard it anyway and it made him both a bit happy and worried.
“Can you please talk to me? What happened?” asked Jesse and pushed Hokuto a bit so he could see the others face.
“I like you. That happened.” answered the older with honest.
“Ha?! Wait... you mean... you like... me... and ha?!” rumbled Jesse on but Hokuto only smiled and pushed their lips together.
After Jesse had realized what's happening he kissed him back and only when air became necessary they broke away.
“I take this as you like me, too.” stated Hokuto with a huge smile whereupon Jesse blushed and said baka to him.
When he kissed him again they didn't notice they got visitors.
“Seems like we don't need to do something anymore.” stated Taiga with a grin whereupon the two lovers quickly broke apart.
“Can't you knock?” asked Hokuto embarrassed.
“We couldn't know that Jesse is awake and you two are kissing.” argued Juri with smile.
After they scolded a bit Jesse to make them worry like this they excused themselves and let the newly formed couple time for them which Hokuto gladly accept. And kissed his newly found boyfriend.
