A young man maybe about 18 was walking deep in thoughts. He was on his way to met his friends when he suddenly felt that someone was following him.
“Maybe someone who felt again for this jinx my mom put it on me.” the man thought.
However, it was a bit different. The person didn't approach him. Instead he followed him till he had enough.
He ran and hid behind boxes and when his follower came he said: “What do you want from me?”
That was the moment when he could see who it was that followed him. It was a man about his age. A bit higher and he has brown eyes and hair.
“Sorry, I wanted to know if there's a supermarket nearby.”
“Huh?”
“As I said I wanted to know if there is a supermarket.”
“You don't want to go out with me?”
“Why should I?” asked the man confused.
“I don't even know your name. And if I'm honest you look good, but I'm not from this side.”
“But... how? How can you not love me? I'm Kamenashi Kazuya the son of Benten!” exclaimed Kame.
“And that is so important because...?”
“You're not from here, are you?”
“Yeah... I moved back here last week.”
“Back? Meaning you were living here already? What's your name by the way?”
“Yeah I lived here till I was ten. Then my family moved to America. Sorry, I didn't introduced me, did I? I'm Akanishi Jin.”
“So you didn't hear of the rumors yet...” Kame whispered.
“What?”
“Ah! Nothing... right, you wanted to know were the supermarket is, right?”
The other nodded.
“I can take you there. I was going there to meet my friends anyway.” Kame said.
“If it isn't too much trouble for you.”
“I wouldn't suggest it.” Kazuya smiled.
“Then lead the way!” Jin exclaimed with a bright smile.
“Hahahaha... we don't know each other for long and yet you order me around.” laughed the smaller.

They walked side by side till they reached the supermarket where in front of it were two guys standing and waiting for someone most likely Kame.
“Here we are. If you need help don't hesitate to ask me.” said Kazuya.
“How can I when I don't know how to contact you?” Jin asked dumbfounded.
“Oh right. Here is my number. Call me if you-” The smaller was interrupted by a voice which called him.
“Kame! How long did you want to make us wa-” blond boy asked when he saw there was standing someone next to his friend.
“Oi! Back off! He don't want to go out with you or anything else which goes in this direction.” shouted the blond boy almost.
“Calm down, Koki. He isn't interested.” explained Kame calmly.
“H-he is-isn't?” stuttered Koki.
“How is that possible?! You're the son of Benten!” exclaimed another fair hair boy.
“I don't know it's strange though. However Jin isn't attracted to me and it's somehow relaxing to talk to him.” explained Kame with a smile.
Jin looked at the trio a bit confused but smiled at what Kame said about him.
“Will you introduce us to your new friend or should we do it?” asked Koki amused.
“Oh, right... I forgot... The small blond guy who looks like a gangster is Tanaka Koki. Don't worry, he looks tough outside but he has his heart at the right place. The bigger blond guy is Ueda Tatsuya. Don't upset him too much. He can really good fighting.” introduced Kazuya his friends.
When Jin was about to open his mouth someone shouted: “JIN!”
The four boys turned to the direction of the voice.
“Pi?”
“Jin, what are you doing here with... them?” asked YamaPi as he looked disgusted at Kame, Koki and Ueda.
“Kame showed me the way to the supermarket where I should meet you since you forgot to tell me how I can get there.” Jin explained.
“You don't need to look at us like this. We have feelings too, you know.” said Koki angry.
“Come on, Koki. He isn't worth it.”
“Ueda's right. Let's leave. Bye Jin!” bis Kame farewell and dragged with Ueda an upset Koki away.
“Why did you react to them this... unpleasant?” wanted Jin to know.
“Listen Jin, stay away from Kamenashi and his gang. They aren't normal. Trust me.”
“I know. They're crazy. That's not a reason to avoid them though.” argued the half American.
“What did they say when I wasn't around?”
“Something with son of Bew... Bea... I don't know...”
“Do you mean Benten?”
“Yeah! They said Kame was the son of Benten and cursed. Oh and they said it's impossible for me to not love him!” exclaimed Jin and grinned as if he was a little kid and won a huge teddy bear.
“You didn't fall in love with him? Wow... that's the first time I hear this.”
“What do you mean, Pi?”
“Mh... you see. There are some... rumors that his gang and family aren't normal and I don't mean crazy. I mean they aren't human.” whispered his friend as if he was afraid someone could hear their conversation.
“Come on, Pi. They wouldn't been vampires or something like this.” mused Jin.
“I know that such creatures don't exist and I didn't mean them. I meant they have powers which human couldn't posses.” made YamaPi clear.
“What? So they can fly and more?” Tomo nodded as an answer.
“How do you know this?”
“He's in my school. Luckily we're not in the same class. The likes like him are in a special class. We 'normalo' don't even know where their class room is. All we know is that they are in our school no more no less. Speaking of school you're going in the same school as me, right?”
“Yeah... tomorrow is my first day. Please don't be too worried about me. You can be a pain in the ass if you're worried.” begged Jin.
“Hmpf... I really shouldn't care about you. You don't appreciate my worries Maybe I should search for a new best friend.” said Yamashita sulking.
He turned around and gave him the cold shoulder.
“Come on, Pi. You know what I mean. Don't pout like this.” tried Akanishi to make his friend to look at him.
Without success though.
“No, you talk with Kamenashi about everything from now on.”
“Are you still trying to change my opinion of him?” asked Jin annoyed.
“I need to know your opinion so I can change it. Even though I have a faint idea that I won't like your opinion of him if you would tell me. So don't tell me.” sighed the other.
“I like him. As a friend only but I like him.”
“I said don't tell me!!! I'm not in agreement with you. You'll see it soon too, what I mean.”
With that the two friends made their way back home. When Jin laid awake this night he went through the conversation with his friend and his memories of Kame. He wonders what his friend meant when he said he would see it, too, soon. As he thought about it he drifted into sleep and the last thing he thought was the bright smile of a certain young man with brown hair who he met today for the first but hopefully not the last time.

Meanwhile walked Kame and his friends home where their families already were awaiting them.
“We're back!” shouted Koki in the house.
“Welcome back!” answered a voice from somewhere in the house.
“You're back, dad? Since when?” asked Ueda surprised.
“I came a few minutes ago.”
“Yeah and he already told us how cool his war was again, right Kamui?” asked a man annoyed who looked like Koki only a few years older.
“Hi dad, welcome back mom.” greeted Koki his parents.
Koki and Ueda went to his parents and talked with them. Hachiman, Tatsuyas dad, noted that Kazuya looked a bit lost.
“Your mother...”
“I know. She isn't coming, right? Don't worry, I didn't expect of her to come.” smiled Kazuya.
All eyes were on the youngest now. He was alone since his father died 10 years ago and his mother isn't coming to visit him since she cursed him.
“I'm sorry.” apologized the two gods at the same time.
“As I said, don't worry. You don't need to apologize. I'm already used to it by now.”
“However... we should have persuaded her more so she would had come to see you. Nobody should endure this.” said the goddess Kamui sad.
“Why should I be sad? I have two great friends which are more like brothers to me. Furthermore I have you two, Hachiman and Kamui, and the others two parents. You are my family now.” As he said this the four gods and demigods hugged him tightly.
“Ah, right! You won't believe what happened to Kame today.” shouted Koki nearly.
“Next time you don't need to shout. We have good ears.” complained Ueda.
“What happened, sweetie?” asked Koki's mom Kamui.
“There is someone who wasn't affected by Kazuya's... power.”
“You mean my curse, right?” interrupted the youngest.
“Whatever. Anyway isn't that great? You can finally remove-” began Koki to talk again.
“Stop it! I don't wanna hear a thing about this!” made Kazuya his point angry clear.
“But he could be the one who can break your... curse, couldn't he?” argued Ueda.
“They're right Kazuya.” agreed the gods their sons.
“And how do you think it will go?! That if I'm going to him and say: 'Hey, you can lift my curse when we have sex so let's do it. Ah... but you must love me?!'” shouted the youngest angry.
“He's a boy, too goddamn it!”
“Please calm down, Kazuya. We'll find a solution.” said the only human in the room and hugged him.
In his arms Kazuya began to cry. It seemed like it was all too much for him to handle and now that he is by his family he let his guard down. The boy cried till he fell asleep and Koki's dad brought him in his room which he shared with Koki and Ueda.
“I didn't saw him cry like this since his dad died and Benten cursed him right after his funeral.” noted Ueda sad.
Koki looked at their friend with unshed tears.
“Let's sleep. We have tomorrow school and I don't wanna get there late.”
“Yeah...” sighed Koki.

“You should be careful, Kazuya.” whispered a voice.
“Mom? Where are you?”
The boy turned around but he didn't saw his mother.
“I'm happy and sorry at the same time. You finally found someone who isn't affected by your curse.”
“I wouldn't have to find someone if you didn't cursed me.” argued Kame.
“I'm sorry, but I didn't had a choice back then. And I would do it even now if I hadn't done it there.”
“But why? Why did you curse me?”
“I can't tell you this, yet. Listen, Kazuya, you are strong and there are people which don't like how strong you are and you're gonna be.” said the voice.
The more his mother spoke the quieter her voice got.
“My time is almost over... So be careful. Don't forget who you are. I love you, my baby...” with this the voice vanished and let Kazuya in the dark.
“You could at least tell me why you cursed me...” muttered he.

At the next morning Kame behaved like he always did. Nobody spoke up till the friends were on their way to school.
“Kame... are you okay? You know you needn't to be strong in front of us, right?” asked Koki with concern.
“I'm alright. Don't worry. If we don't hurry up we'll be late.” smiled the brown haired boy and began to run.
“He isn't alright at all am is he?”
“He isn't.” confirmed Ueda. “However, we're still there for him if he needs us.”
After the older said this he ran towards his friend and heard Koki shouting at them: “Oi, wait! That's not fair!”
They barley managed to come on time.

After few weeks when it was lunch time the three went to the cafeteria to eat something.
“Hey!” greeted someone from behind them.
Even without turning around Kame knew who it was and his friends could tell too at how tense he was.
“Hi...” greeted the boy back.
“Are you going to eat here or are you going to another place?” asked Jin cheerfully.
“We planed to eat here. Why?”
“Great! You can sit with us then.” smiled the boy widely.
“I don't think this-” started Kame but was interrupted by Koki: “Sure.”
As soon as Jin told them were he sat he turned around and left them.
Kazuya waited for Jin to be away before he hissed: “Why did you agree?”
“Because we want you to be happy. And you're obviously happy when you're with Jin.” explained Ueda for Koki who nodded in agreement.
“You know I hate you.” murmured the youngest.
“I love you, too.” “I can live with it.” answered the other two at the same time.
It didn't took them long to get their lunches thanks to Kazuya. Everyone wanted to make a good impression on him so they could have a chance for going out with him. Some pupil even confessed to him but he ignored them. Even the lunch ladies preferred Kame to the extent that he would get bigger portion than everyone else. As usual Koki mocked him because of this.
“Hahahahaha... that was too cool hahahahaha...” laughed the blond boy as they walked to Jin.
“What happened?” asked Jin at the same moment in which Tomohisa wanted to know what they were doing here.
“I invited them to eat with us.” explained Jin nonchalant.
“Nothing serious. Only the normal lunch flirt and confessions, right Kame?” laughed Koki still.
“I didn't flirted with her though...” murmured said guy.
Ueda boxed his friend in the ribs to make him stop laughing.
“What did he mean?” He asked nobody specifically but he was surprised to hear his best friend answer: “He flirted with the lunch lady to get a bigger portion. Oh and everyone else in the queue so he could get faster his meal.”
On this Kame looked hurt down. He knew that was what everyone thought of him. However it was something completely different when someone say it in your face. Ueda who sensed Kazuyas pain was furious.
“Don't talk like that about him if you don't know a thing!”
“Calm down, Tatsuya.” tried Koki without much success.
“I won't calm down! I have enough of all this shit. I'm tried of how Kame is treated like he could do anything for his power. I'm tried how Kame has to deal with everything alone. And I hate it that he doesn't rely on us or ask us for help.” exploded Tatsuya.
“Tatsuya... I didn't mean to leave you out...” apologized Kame.
“I know... but sometimes I hope you would talk with us more. We know it's a burden and that you wanted to see Be- you know who...” explained Ueda.
“I know you are worried about me. However I'm fine... really.”
“You could be more alright if you talk about it with Jin...” murmured Koki.
“What have I to do with this? And what is 'it'?” wanted Jin to know.
“Koki!” exclaimed Kazuya.
“Sorry... I think he has the right to know though...” tried Koki to persuade his friend.
The youngest wanted nothing to hear anymore so he stood up and stormed out of the cafeteria.
“I can't tell him... even if I wanted to I can't... not with the information my mom gave me...” thought he sad.
Before anyone could say anything Jin ran after his new friend.

He found Kame in the forest behind the school and wanted to say something but in the moment he opened his mouth something or better someone was standing in front of his friend with a devil grin. It was a man a bit taller than he was. Even though he is an elderly man Jin was sure he shouldn't underestimate him. The man wore a an kimono and looked like he was a king from the Fujiwara period. Strangely he hold an peach in his hand.
“So, you're the famous Kamenashi Kazuya...”
At this moment Jin decided to act and stormed towards the two.
“Who are you?” he wanted to know.
The two people turned around to see him. The taller walked in his direction until he stand before him and reached his hands out so he could hold him.
“Don't worry... I won't harm you... yet.”
“What do you-” wanted Jin to know.
“Let him go, Tobosaku!” demanded Kazuya.
“Only if you agree.” told the god his conditions.
“I said let him go!” said Kame.
“Why should I? I like him.” he grinned.
“Don't you dare to hurt him. You know your actions will condemned later.” argued the demigod.
“Why do you care about him? He's an unworthy human. He's from the same kind like these who are so cruel to you.” manipulated Tobosaku him.
“He is... like the others...” repeated the younger in trance.
“That's right. He doesn't care about you at all. You'll see.” talked he onward.
“No, don't listen to him, Kame! I care about you!” tried Jin to persuade him.
“Don't listen to him. Nobody like you. Or how do you explain that even your mother left you?”
“My mother left me... nobody likes me...” said Kame.
Before Tobosaku could say anything more he was interrupted by a voice.
“Kame!” “What happened?” asked Ueda while he shot the god an angry glance.
“I don't know... I wanted to talk to him but this guy was faster and then he talked about some conditions and that Kame should agree with him.” explained Jin the situation.
“What did you do, Tobosaku?” wanted Koki to know.
“Nothing...” said asked person with a wide smile. “I only told him the truth.”
“What truth?” asked Ueda confused.
He glanced to Koki who shook his head. So he didn't knew of what truth the god was talking about.
“Come with me, Kazuya.”
“Nobody likes me... nobody cares about me... my mother left me...” murmured the youngest.
“I didn't know Kamenashi had such low self-confidence...” commented YamaPi.
“He hasn't...” made Koki clear when he turned towards his friend.
“Kame... We care about you. And Kamui and Hachiman. We all care about you. We love you.” tried he to get through his friend.
“He doesn't care about me... nobody loves me...” talked said boy onward.
“That isn't true... We love you. You're like a brother for me and Koki. Even dad and Koki's mom and dad love you like your their son. Don't say something like there's nobody who loves you.” tried Ueda to persuade him with out much success though.
The boy didn't wake up from his trance.
“Kamenashi snap out of it!” shouted Tomohisa now.
Sure he hated the boy however this doesn't mean he liked to see him in such a state.
“Don't waste your energy. He can't hear you. The only voice who can reach him is mine.” laughed the god sneaky.
Suddenly Koki looked at Jin. He had an idea but he didn't know if it would work. The boy walked closer to Akanishi and let Ueda handle Kame who didn't move an inch since their arrival.
“Akanishi, I need your help.” whispered Koki.
“What can I do?” he asked.
Koki then whispered something in his ear whereupon his face turned red.
“I-I can't... d-do some-something l-like t-this...” stuttered Jin.
“Please. You're our last hope.” pleaded the other.
When the taller boy nodded Koki sighed out of relieve.
“Thanks.”
“Don't thank me yet. It could be that this plan won't work out.” whispered Jin back.
Slowly Jin approached the younger and tried to get a hold of his hand without success. He tried again and again but nothing worked.
“What did you say him, Koki? What should he do?” asked YamaPi suspicious.
“Don't worry. I said he should do what his heart want to do.” reassured Koki him.
In the meanwhile Akanishi gave up and tried to speak with Kame.
“Kame, it's me, Jin.”
“Stay away from me. Don't touch me...” whispered Kazuya like he was a scared kitten.
“Okay... I'm not gonna touch you if you don't want me to. Nobody is trying to hurt you. Come here.” persuaded Jin him softly.
Kazuya lifted his head to look in the taller's eyes.
“Really?”
“Yeah. We like you Kame.” assured Jin.
“Don't listen to him! He's lying!” hurried Tobosaku to say.
Immediately Kazuya sunk back in his world.
“Can you please make him stop talking?” pleaded the human Kame's friends.
They looked at each other conflicted. There was a rule in their world to never show their powers to humans whatever happened.
“If you want to have your friend back make him shout up!” ordered Akanishi.
“Aaaahhhhh! To hell with the rules!” shouted Koki.
Ueda nodded and said: “Don't order us around, Akanishi or you might regret it later on.”
With this said the demigods attacked the god with their powers. Koki threw fire balls at him while Ueda fought with him with a sword that he whipped up from somewhere. When the god was busy with defending himself Jin returned to his task to bring back Kame. He looked him in the eyes in which he could see nothing. There was no love not even his will to live was there anymore.
“Come back, Kame. Please... I- we need you. Koki and Ueda love you. You can't hurt them. They're your friends.”
“I have nobody... I'm completely alone...”
“Kame... You're not alone. You have Koki, Ueda and your family.”
At this Kazuya looked up once again.
“Family?”
“Yeah... you have your mom and dad, haven't you?”
“No... I'm alone... I'M ALONE SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!” screamed Kamenashi and released his power with his outburst.
Through this release Jin was thrown away from Kazuya.
“JIN!” shrieked Tomohisa.
”Hehehehe... it's time” smiled the god of stealing.
All of them watched when Kame's power broke free.
“Oi old man what is the meaning of all this?” wanted Koki to know.
“He's powerful. Much more powerful than I and the others imaged. Finally he's releasing it.”
“What do you mean?” asked Ueda.
“Didn't you think it was odd that Benten cursed her only son? It was to protect him of someone like me and himself. He can't control the power which lies within him before he turns 21.” explained Tobosaku.
“How can we stop it?”
“Nobody can stop it. Not even Benten could it if she was here at the moment. I bet she really wants to be here but can't. Hahahaha”
“Why?”
“Cause Izanami and Izanagi forbid the Seven Lucky Gods to see their children. They are more powerful like other children from gods.” said the god with an evil smile.
“So that's why Benten didn't visit him.”
“And why our parents always apologized to Kame.” concluded Ueda.
“I won't give up. Not before Kazuya is the same again.” whispered Jin which laid beside Tomo.
“Jin! Thank god you're not dead. Don't make me worried like hell you idiot!”
“I don't die so easily. Now let me go so I can help Kazuya.” assured Akanishi.
“But-” wanted YamaPi to argue when he saw his friend's determined look he decided to stay silent though.
Jin walked towards Kame and tried to reach him but it was difficult to get closer to him than one meter. Ueda send him a shield which protected him so he could make his was over to his friend. When he was near Kamenashi he heard what the younger said like a mantra.
“Nobody cares about me... Nobody loves me... Nobody needs me... Everyone left me... I'm alone...”
“That's not true. Your friend love and care about you. Even YamaPi likes you even if he doesn't look like it. And... and I need you, Kazu... I like you!” shouted Jin.
At this Kame looked in his eyes again.
There was a bit hope that Jin went through him however he didn't thought Kame would shout: “Liar! I know you don't like me. You only want to hurt me like all the other humans! I hate you!”
“Please Kazuya... I'm not telling you lies. I really like you. You have a beautiful smile even though sometimes it didn't reach your eyes. But that's only then when you're worried about something. I like the face you do when you're in deep thoughts and when you pout because Koki and Ueda teased you. I love all of this!” made Jin clear.
“That's too sweet. Sadly he didn't hear you.” laughed Tobosaku.
“Then I'll make him.” decided Jin.
With this he got slowly near Kame. The shield was destroyed cause of the youngster power. It was like Akanishi walked against a wall of air or was swimming against the stream of water. He got scratches from the branches when they flew through the air. He didn't give up though. He walked till he was standing in front of Kame.
“Come on, Kazu. You're not yourself. Fight against it! I know you can do it! You're stronger than you might think.” shouted Akanishi.
Jin saw how a tear rolled down his friends cheek. Now he had proof that Kazuya were hearing and actually listening to him.
“You are great as you are. We all love you. We don't want to lose you.” spoke he onward.
Slowly the power of Kame decreased a bit so Jin could walk more closely to him. When he was near enough he embosomed him and whispered sweet nothings in his hear. Soon the youngest cried in the olders arms until he calmed down a bit.
“Thank you, Jin.” thanked Kame.
“You're welcome. You would do the same if it was me, right?” smiled Jin whereupon the in his arms nodded.
“Tha-that's not possible! You should be only able to hear me! How did you do it you... you trashy human!” screamed Tobosaku.
“I did nothing. It was Kazu- I mean Kame who fought against... whatever this was.” said Jin.
He didn't notice the hurt look in Kame's eyes when he switched back to his nickname.
“Oh, come on. You're like all the other humans. You are scared about everything which is unknown to you and will hurt him to protect yourself. You don't care about him! And Kazuya don't need something like you.”
Before said boy could answer something there was Kazuya who shouted: “He isn't. He isn't like the others! He cares about me!”
“Stop kidding. He's a human. He doesn't even know that we gods really exist.” laughed the god.
“But now I know! And-”
“TOBOSAKU!” shouted an angry voice behind them.
“Upps...”
“Mom?” asked Kame with disbelief.
“Hello sweetie. I see you have found him.” smiled Benten.
“Now to you. What are you doing here?!” asked she angry when she turned to him.
“Um... nothing?” tried said man to make excuses.
“It doesn't seem to me like 'nothing'. What happened?”
“Hahahahaha... I'm sorry!” laughed Tobosaku a bit before he run away.
“Hold on! If I get my hands on you you will wish that Emma O found you and not me! See you, Kazuya.” bid Benten her byes.
Before she ran after Tobosaku she turned around again and said: “I'm happy you found your special someone. Don't let him go. I'm proud of you.”
With this she followed her victim.
“That was... weird...” commented YamaPi.
“I don't want to switch places with Tobosaku right now. Your mother can be really scary sometimes, Kame.” said Koki.
However addressed boy didn't heard him due to the look Jin gave him.
“What did your mother mean with you found your special someone?”
“Um... You know... it's...” stammered Kame.
“Tell him, Kame. He has the right to know after all this. Furthermore is he the main character in this.” urged Ueda his friend to talk.
“I know. It's only...” argued Kamenashi.
“Don't you think Jin is strong enough to get over it?” tried Koki.
“Ok now I want to know what's happening! In what is Jin the main character? And what has all this to do with it?” demanded Tomo for answers.
“I'm... no we're demigods. We all have different gods as parents. Koki's mom is the god of fire Abe Kamui. Ueda's dad Hachiman is the god of war and my mom is Benten the god of love. She cursed me when my dad died and it can't be broken until I find real love. Apparently it seems like Jin is my true love. I know this sounds crazy but that's like it is. If you don't want to have anything to do with me I'll understand it. You don't have to accept me as your boyfriend.” explained Kame.
“I think it's me who decides this.” smiled Jin and kissed his now boyfriend.
“Does this mean...?”
“Yeah... I accept your feelings. But let me give you a warning. I'm a bit slow sometimes-”
“You mean you're an idiot the whole time!” interrupted YamaPi with a wide smile.
“And it could happen that I hurt you unintentionally. Are you sure you wanna put up with me?” continued Jin to say.
“Only if you will put up with me.”
Both of them smiled at each other till their lips touched and they kissed completely ignoring the cat calls their friends gave them.

He ran and hid behind boxes and when his follower came he said: “What do you want from me?”
That was the moment when he could see who it was that followed him. It was a man about his age. A bit higher and he has brown eyes and hair.
“Sorry, I wanted to know if there's a supermarket nearby.”
“Huh?”
“As I said I wanted to know if there is a supermarket.”
“You don't want to go out with me?”
“Why should I?” asked the man confused.
“I don't even know your name. And if I'm honest you look good, but I'm not from this side.”
“But... how? How can you not love me? I'm Kamenashi Kazuya the son of Benten!” exclaimed Kame.
“And that is so important because...?”
“You're not from here, are you?”
“Yeah... I moved back here last week.”
“Back? Meaning you were living here already? What's your name by the way?”
“Yeah I lived here till I was ten. Then my family moved to America. Sorry, I didn't introduced me, did I? I'm Akanishi Jin.”
“So you didn't hear of the rumors yet...” Kame whispered.
“What?”
“Ah! Nothing... right, you wanted to know were the supermarket is, right?”
The other nodded.
“I can take you there. I was going there to meet my friends anyway.” Kame said.
“If it isn't too much trouble for you.”
“I wouldn't suggest it.” Kazuya smiled.
“Then lead the way!” Jin exclaimed with a bright smile.
“Hahahaha... we don't know each other for long and yet you order me around.” laughed the smaller.

They walked side by side till they reached the supermarket where in front of it were two guys standing and waiting for someone most likely Kame.
“Here we are. If you need help don't hesitate to ask me.” said Kazuya.
“How can I when I don't know how to contact you?” Jin asked dumbfounded.
“Oh right. Here is my number. Call me if you-” The smaller was interrupted by a voice which called him.
“Kame! How long did you want to make us wa-” blond boy asked when he saw there was standing someone next to his friend.
“Oi! Back off! He don't want to go out with you or anything else which goes in this direction.” shouted the blond boy almost.
“Calm down, Koki. He isn't interested.” explained Kame calmly.
“H-he is-isn't?” stuttered Koki.
“How is that possible?! You're the son of Benten!” exclaimed another fair hair boy.
“I don't know it's strange though. However Jin isn't attracted to me and it's somehow relaxing to talk to him.” explained Kame with a smile.
Jin looked at the trio a bit confused but smiled at what Kame said about him.
“Will you introduce us to your new friend or should we do it?” asked Koki amused.
“Oh, right... I forgot... The small blond guy who looks like a gangster is Tanaka Koki. Don't worry, he looks tough outside but he has his heart at the right place. The bigger blond guy is Ueda Tatsuya. Don't upset him too much. He can really good fighting.” introduced Kazuya his friends.
When Jin was about to open his mouth someone shouted: “JIN!”
The four boys turned to the direction of the voice.
“Pi?”
“Jin, what are you doing here with... them?” asked YamaPi as he looked disgusted at Kame, Koki and Ueda.
“Kame showed me the way to the supermarket where I should meet you since you forgot to tell me how I can get there.” Jin explained.
“You don't need to look at us like this. We have feelings too, you know.” said Koki angry.
“Come on, Koki. He isn't worth it.”
“Ueda's right. Let's leave. Bye Jin!” bis Kame farewell and dragged with Ueda an upset Koki away.
“Why did you react to them this... unpleasant?” wanted Jin to know.
“Listen Jin, stay away from Kamenashi and his gang. They aren't normal. Trust me.”
“I know. They're crazy. That's not a reason to avoid them though.” argued the half American.
“What did they say when I wasn't around?”
“Something with son of Bew... Bea... I don't know...”
“Do you mean Benten?”
“Yeah! They said Kame was the son of Benten and cursed. Oh and they said it's impossible for me to not love him!” exclaimed Jin and grinned as if he was a little kid and won a huge teddy bear.
“You didn't fall in love with him? Wow... that's the first time I hear this.”
“What do you mean, Pi?”
“Mh... you see. There are some... rumors that his gang and family aren't normal and I don't mean crazy. I mean they aren't human.” whispered his friend as if he was afraid someone could hear their conversation.
“Come on, Pi. They wouldn't been vampires or something like this.” mused Jin.
“I know that such creatures don't exist and I didn't mean them. I meant they have powers which human couldn't posses.” made YamaPi clear.
“What? So they can fly and more?” Tomo nodded as an answer.
“How do you know this?”
“He's in my school. Luckily we're not in the same class. The likes like him are in a special class. We 'normalo' don't even know where their class room is. All we know is that they are in our school no more no less. Speaking of school you're going in the same school as me, right?”
“Yeah... tomorrow is my first day. Please don't be too worried about me. You can be a pain in the ass if you're worried.” begged Jin.
“Hmpf... I really shouldn't care about you. You don't appreciate my worries Maybe I should search for a new best friend.” said Yamashita sulking.
He turned around and gave him the cold shoulder.
“Come on, Pi. You know what I mean. Don't pout like this.” tried Akanishi to make his friend to look at him.
Without success though.
“No, you talk with Kamenashi about everything from now on.”
“Are you still trying to change my opinion of him?” asked Jin annoyed.
“I need to know your opinion so I can change it. Even though I have a faint idea that I won't like your opinion of him if you would tell me. So don't tell me.” sighed the other.
“I like him. As a friend only but I like him.”
“I said don't tell me!!! I'm not in agreement with you. You'll see it soon too, what I mean.”
With that the two friends made their way back home. When Jin laid awake this night he went through the conversation with his friend and his memories of Kame. He wonders what his friend meant when he said he would see it, too, soon. As he thought about it he drifted into sleep and the last thing he thought was the bright smile of a certain young man with brown hair who he met today for the first but hopefully not the last time.

Meanwhile walked Kame and his friends home where their families already were awaiting them.
“We're back!” shouted Koki in the house.
“Welcome back!” answered a voice from somewhere in the house.
“You're back, dad? Since when?” asked Ueda surprised.
“I came a few minutes ago.”
“Yeah and he already told us how cool his war was again, right Kamui?” asked a man annoyed who looked like Koki only a few years older.
“Hi dad, welcome back mom.” greeted Koki his parents.
Koki and Ueda went to his parents and talked with them. Hachiman, Tatsuyas dad, noted that Kazuya looked a bit lost.
“Your mother...”
“I know. She isn't coming, right? Don't worry, I didn't expect of her to come.” smiled Kazuya.
All eyes were on the youngest now. He was alone since his father died 10 years ago and his mother isn't coming to visit him since she cursed him.
“I'm sorry.” apologized the two gods at the same time.
“As I said, don't worry. You don't need to apologize. I'm already used to it by now.”
“However... we should have persuaded her more so she would had come to see you. Nobody should endure this.” said the goddess Kamui sad.
“Why should I be sad? I have two great friends which are more like brothers to me. Furthermore I have you two, Hachiman and Kamui, and the others two parents. You are my family now.” As he said this the four gods and demigods hugged him tightly.
“Ah, right! You won't believe what happened to Kame today.” shouted Koki nearly.
“Next time you don't need to shout. We have good ears.” complained Ueda.
“What happened, sweetie?” asked Koki's mom Kamui.
“There is someone who wasn't affected by Kazuya's... power.”
“You mean my curse, right?” interrupted the youngest.
“Whatever. Anyway isn't that great? You can finally remove-” began Koki to talk again.
“Stop it! I don't wanna hear a thing about this!” made Kazuya his point angry clear.
“But he could be the one who can break your... curse, couldn't he?” argued Ueda.
“They're right Kazuya.” agreed the gods their sons.
“And how do you think it will go?! That if I'm going to him and say: 'Hey, you can lift my curse when we have sex so let's do it. Ah... but you must love me?!'” shouted the youngest angry.
“He's a boy, too goddamn it!”
“Please calm down, Kazuya. We'll find a solution.” said the only human in the room and hugged him.
In his arms Kazuya began to cry. It seemed like it was all too much for him to handle and now that he is by his family he let his guard down. The boy cried till he fell asleep and Koki's dad brought him in his room which he shared with Koki and Ueda.
“I didn't saw him cry like this since his dad died and Benten cursed him right after his funeral.” noted Ueda sad.
Koki looked at their friend with unshed tears.
“Let's sleep. We have tomorrow school and I don't wanna get there late.”
“Yeah...” sighed Koki.

“You should be careful, Kazuya.” whispered a voice.
“Mom? Where are you?”
The boy turned around but he didn't saw his mother.
“I'm happy and sorry at the same time. You finally found someone who isn't affected by your curse.”
“I wouldn't have to find someone if you didn't cursed me.” argued Kame.
“I'm sorry, but I didn't had a choice back then. And I would do it even now if I hadn't done it there.”
“But why? Why did you curse me?”
“I can't tell you this, yet. Listen, Kazuya, you are strong and there are people which don't like how strong you are and you're gonna be.” said the voice.
The more his mother spoke the quieter her voice got.
“My time is almost over... So be careful. Don't forget who you are. I love you, my baby...” with this the voice vanished and let Kazuya in the dark.
“You could at least tell me why you cursed me...” muttered he.

At the next morning Kame behaved like he always did. Nobody spoke up till the friends were on their way to school.
“Kame... are you okay? You know you needn't to be strong in front of us, right?” asked Koki with concern.
“I'm alright. Don't worry. If we don't hurry up we'll be late.” smiled the brown haired boy and began to run.
“He isn't alright at all am is he?”
“He isn't.” confirmed Ueda. “However, we're still there for him if he needs us.”
After the older said this he ran towards his friend and heard Koki shouting at them: “Oi, wait! That's not fair!”
They barley managed to come on time.

After few weeks when it was lunch time the three went to the cafeteria to eat something.
“Hey!” greeted someone from behind them.
Even without turning around Kame knew who it was and his friends could tell too at how tense he was.
“Hi...” greeted the boy back.
“Are you going to eat here or are you going to another place?” asked Jin cheerfully.
“We planed to eat here. Why?”
“Great! You can sit with us then.” smiled the boy widely.
“I don't think this-” started Kame but was interrupted by Koki: “Sure.”
As soon as Jin told them were he sat he turned around and left them.
Kazuya waited for Jin to be away before he hissed: “Why did you agree?”
“Because we want you to be happy. And you're obviously happy when you're with Jin.” explained Ueda for Koki who nodded in agreement.
“You know I hate you.” murmured the youngest.
“I love you, too.” “I can live with it.” answered the other two at the same time.
It didn't took them long to get their lunches thanks to Kazuya. Everyone wanted to make a good impression on him so they could have a chance for going out with him. Some pupil even confessed to him but he ignored them. Even the lunch ladies preferred Kame to the extent that he would get bigger portion than everyone else. As usual Koki mocked him because of this.
“Hahahahaha... that was too cool hahahahaha...” laughed the blond boy as they walked to Jin.
“What happened?” asked Jin at the same moment in which Tomohisa wanted to know what they were doing here.
“I invited them to eat with us.” explained Jin nonchalant.
“Nothing serious. Only the normal lunch flirt and confessions, right Kame?” laughed Koki still.
“I didn't flirted with her though...” murmured said guy.
Ueda boxed his friend in the ribs to make him stop laughing.
“What did he mean?” He asked nobody specifically but he was surprised to hear his best friend answer: “He flirted with the lunch lady to get a bigger portion. Oh and everyone else in the queue so he could get faster his meal.”
On this Kame looked hurt down. He knew that was what everyone thought of him. However it was something completely different when someone say it in your face. Ueda who sensed Kazuyas pain was furious.
“Don't talk like that about him if you don't know a thing!”
“Calm down, Tatsuya.” tried Koki without much success.
“I won't calm down! I have enough of all this shit. I'm tried of how Kame is treated like he could do anything for his power. I'm tried how Kame has to deal with everything alone. And I hate it that he doesn't rely on us or ask us for help.” exploded Tatsuya.
“Tatsuya... I didn't mean to leave you out...” apologized Kame.
“I know... but sometimes I hope you would talk with us more. We know it's a burden and that you wanted to see Be- you know who...” explained Ueda.
“I know you are worried about me. However I'm fine... really.”
“You could be more alright if you talk about it with Jin...” murmured Koki.
“What have I to do with this? And what is 'it'?” wanted Jin to know.
“Koki!” exclaimed Kazuya.
“Sorry... I think he has the right to know though...” tried Koki to persuade his friend.
The youngest wanted nothing to hear anymore so he stood up and stormed out of the cafeteria.
“I can't tell him... even if I wanted to I can't... not with the information my mom gave me...” thought he sad.
Before anyone could say anything Jin ran after his new friend.

He found Kame in the forest behind the school and wanted to say something but in the moment he opened his mouth something or better someone was standing in front of his friend with a devil grin. It was a man a bit taller than he was. Even though he is an elderly man Jin was sure he shouldn't underestimate him. The man wore a an kimono and looked like he was a king from the Fujiwara period. Strangely he hold an peach in his hand.
“So, you're the famous Kamenashi Kazuya...”
At this moment Jin decided to act and stormed towards the two.
“Who are you?” he wanted to know.
The two people turned around to see him. The taller walked in his direction until he stand before him and reached his hands out so he could hold him.
“Don't worry... I won't harm you... yet.”
“What do you-” wanted Jin to know.
“Let him go, Tobosaku!” demanded Kazuya.
“Only if you agree.” told the god his conditions.
“I said let him go!” said Kame.
“Why should I? I like him.” he grinned.
“Don't you dare to hurt him. You know your actions will condemned later.” argued the demigod.
“Why do you care about him? He's an unworthy human. He's from the same kind like these who are so cruel to you.” manipulated Tobosaku him.
“He is... like the others...” repeated the younger in trance.
“That's right. He doesn't care about you at all. You'll see.” talked he onward.
“No, don't listen to him, Kame! I care about you!” tried Jin to persuade him.
“Don't listen to him. Nobody like you. Or how do you explain that even your mother left you?”
“My mother left me... nobody likes me...” said Kame.
Before Tobosaku could say anything more he was interrupted by a voice.
“Kame!” “What happened?” asked Ueda while he shot the god an angry glance.
“I don't know... I wanted to talk to him but this guy was faster and then he talked about some conditions and that Kame should agree with him.” explained Jin the situation.
“What did you do, Tobosaku?” wanted Koki to know.
“Nothing...” said asked person with a wide smile. “I only told him the truth.”
“What truth?” asked Ueda confused.
He glanced to Koki who shook his head. So he didn't knew of what truth the god was talking about.
“Come with me, Kazuya.”
“Nobody likes me... nobody cares about me... my mother left me...” murmured the youngest.
“I didn't know Kamenashi had such low self-confidence...” commented YamaPi.
“He hasn't...” made Koki clear when he turned towards his friend.
“Kame... We care about you. And Kamui and Hachiman. We all care about you. We love you.” tried he to get through his friend.
“He doesn't care about me... nobody loves me...” talked said boy onward.
“That isn't true... We love you. You're like a brother for me and Koki. Even dad and Koki's mom and dad love you like your their son. Don't say something like there's nobody who loves you.” tried Ueda to persuade him with out much success though.
The boy didn't wake up from his trance.
“Kamenashi snap out of it!” shouted Tomohisa now.
Sure he hated the boy however this doesn't mean he liked to see him in such a state.
“Don't waste your energy. He can't hear you. The only voice who can reach him is mine.” laughed the god sneaky.
Suddenly Koki looked at Jin. He had an idea but he didn't know if it would work. The boy walked closer to Akanishi and let Ueda handle Kame who didn't move an inch since their arrival.
“Akanishi, I need your help.” whispered Koki.
“What can I do?” he asked.
Koki then whispered something in his ear whereupon his face turned red.
“I-I can't... d-do some-something l-like t-this...” stuttered Jin.
“Please. You're our last hope.” pleaded the other.
When the taller boy nodded Koki sighed out of relieve.
“Thanks.”
“Don't thank me yet. It could be that this plan won't work out.” whispered Jin back.
Slowly Jin approached the younger and tried to get a hold of his hand without success. He tried again and again but nothing worked.
“What did you say him, Koki? What should he do?” asked YamaPi suspicious.
“Don't worry. I said he should do what his heart want to do.” reassured Koki him.
In the meanwhile Akanishi gave up and tried to speak with Kame.
“Kame, it's me, Jin.”
“Stay away from me. Don't touch me...” whispered Kazuya like he was a scared kitten.
“Okay... I'm not gonna touch you if you don't want me to. Nobody is trying to hurt you. Come here.” persuaded Jin him softly.
Kazuya lifted his head to look in the taller's eyes.
“Really?”
“Yeah. We like you Kame.” assured Jin.
“Don't listen to him! He's lying!” hurried Tobosaku to say.
Immediately Kazuya sunk back in his world.
“Can you please make him stop talking?” pleaded the human Kame's friends.
They looked at each other conflicted. There was a rule in their world to never show their powers to humans whatever happened.
“If you want to have your friend back make him shout up!” ordered Akanishi.
“Aaaahhhhh! To hell with the rules!” shouted Koki.
Ueda nodded and said: “Don't order us around, Akanishi or you might regret it later on.”
With this said the demigods attacked the god with their powers. Koki threw fire balls at him while Ueda fought with him with a sword that he whipped up from somewhere. When the god was busy with defending himself Jin returned to his task to bring back Kame. He looked him in the eyes in which he could see nothing. There was no love not even his will to live was there anymore.
“Come back, Kame. Please... I- we need you. Koki and Ueda love you. You can't hurt them. They're your friends.”
“I have nobody... I'm completely alone...”
“Kame... You're not alone. You have Koki, Ueda and your family.”
At this Kazuya looked up once again.
“Family?”
“Yeah... you have your mom and dad, haven't you?”
“No... I'm alone... I'M ALONE SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!” screamed Kamenashi and released his power with his outburst.
Through this release Jin was thrown away from Kazuya.
“JIN!” shrieked Tomohisa.
”Hehehehe... it's time” smiled the god of stealing.
All of them watched when Kame's power broke free.
“Oi old man what is the meaning of all this?” wanted Koki to know.
“He's powerful. Much more powerful than I and the others imaged. Finally he's releasing it.”
“What do you mean?” asked Ueda.
“Didn't you think it was odd that Benten cursed her only son? It was to protect him of someone like me and himself. He can't control the power which lies within him before he turns 21.” explained Tobosaku.
“How can we stop it?”
“Nobody can stop it. Not even Benten could it if she was here at the moment. I bet she really wants to be here but can't. Hahahaha”
“Why?”
“Cause Izanami and Izanagi forbid the Seven Lucky Gods to see their children. They are more powerful like other children from gods.” said the god with an evil smile.
“So that's why Benten didn't visit him.”
“And why our parents always apologized to Kame.” concluded Ueda.
“I won't give up. Not before Kazuya is the same again.” whispered Jin which laid beside Tomo.
“Jin! Thank god you're not dead. Don't make me worried like hell you idiot!”
“I don't die so easily. Now let me go so I can help Kazuya.” assured Akanishi.
“But-” wanted YamaPi to argue when he saw his friend's determined look he decided to stay silent though.
Jin walked towards Kame and tried to reach him but it was difficult to get closer to him than one meter. Ueda send him a shield which protected him so he could make his was over to his friend. When he was near Kamenashi he heard what the younger said like a mantra.
“Nobody cares about me... Nobody loves me... Nobody needs me... Everyone left me... I'm alone...”
“That's not true. Your friend love and care about you. Even YamaPi likes you even if he doesn't look like it. And... and I need you, Kazu... I like you!” shouted Jin.
At this Kame looked in his eyes again.
There was a bit hope that Jin went through him however he didn't thought Kame would shout: “Liar! I know you don't like me. You only want to hurt me like all the other humans! I hate you!”
“Please Kazuya... I'm not telling you lies. I really like you. You have a beautiful smile even though sometimes it didn't reach your eyes. But that's only then when you're worried about something. I like the face you do when you're in deep thoughts and when you pout because Koki and Ueda teased you. I love all of this!” made Jin clear.
“That's too sweet. Sadly he didn't hear you.” laughed Tobosaku.
“Then I'll make him.” decided Jin.
With this he got slowly near Kame. The shield was destroyed cause of the youngster power. It was like Akanishi walked against a wall of air or was swimming against the stream of water. He got scratches from the branches when they flew through the air. He didn't give up though. He walked till he was standing in front of Kame.
“Come on, Kazu. You're not yourself. Fight against it! I know you can do it! You're stronger than you might think.” shouted Akanishi.
Jin saw how a tear rolled down his friends cheek. Now he had proof that Kazuya were hearing and actually listening to him.
“You are great as you are. We all love you. We don't want to lose you.” spoke he onward.
Slowly the power of Kame decreased a bit so Jin could walk more closely to him. When he was near enough he embosomed him and whispered sweet nothings in his hear. Soon the youngest cried in the olders arms until he calmed down a bit.
“Thank you, Jin.” thanked Kame.
“You're welcome. You would do the same if it was me, right?” smiled Jin whereupon the in his arms nodded.
“Tha-that's not possible! You should be only able to hear me! How did you do it you... you trashy human!” screamed Tobosaku.
“I did nothing. It was Kazu- I mean Kame who fought against... whatever this was.” said Jin.
He didn't notice the hurt look in Kame's eyes when he switched back to his nickname.
“Oh, come on. You're like all the other humans. You are scared about everything which is unknown to you and will hurt him to protect yourself. You don't care about him! And Kazuya don't need something like you.”
Before said boy could answer something there was Kazuya who shouted: “He isn't. He isn't like the others! He cares about me!”
“Stop kidding. He's a human. He doesn't even know that we gods really exist.” laughed the god.
“But now I know! And-”
“TOBOSAKU!” shouted an angry voice behind them.
“Upps...”
“Mom?” asked Kame with disbelief.
“Hello sweetie. I see you have found him.” smiled Benten.
“Now to you. What are you doing here?!” asked she angry when she turned to him.
“Um... nothing?” tried said man to make excuses.
“It doesn't seem to me like 'nothing'. What happened?”
“Hahahahaha... I'm sorry!” laughed Tobosaku a bit before he run away.
“Hold on! If I get my hands on you you will wish that Emma O found you and not me! See you, Kazuya.” bid Benten her byes.
Before she ran after Tobosaku she turned around again and said: “I'm happy you found your special someone. Don't let him go. I'm proud of you.”
With this she followed her victim.
“That was... weird...” commented YamaPi.
“I don't want to switch places with Tobosaku right now. Your mother can be really scary sometimes, Kame.” said Koki.
However addressed boy didn't heard him due to the look Jin gave him.
“What did your mother mean with you found your special someone?”
“Um... You know... it's...” stammered Kame.
“Tell him, Kame. He has the right to know after all this. Furthermore is he the main character in this.” urged Ueda his friend to talk.
“I know. It's only...” argued Kamenashi.
“Don't you think Jin is strong enough to get over it?” tried Koki.
“Ok now I want to know what's happening! In what is Jin the main character? And what has all this to do with it?” demanded Tomo for answers.
“I'm... no we're demigods. We all have different gods as parents. Koki's mom is the god of fire Abe Kamui. Ueda's dad Hachiman is the god of war and my mom is Benten the god of love. She cursed me when my dad died and it can't be broken until I find real love. Apparently it seems like Jin is my true love. I know this sounds crazy but that's like it is. If you don't want to have anything to do with me I'll understand it. You don't have to accept me as your boyfriend.” explained Kame.
“I think it's me who decides this.” smiled Jin and kissed his now boyfriend.
“Does this mean...?”
“Yeah... I accept your feelings. But let me give you a warning. I'm a bit slow sometimes-”
“You mean you're an idiot the whole time!” interrupted YamaPi with a wide smile.
“And it could happen that I hurt you unintentionally. Are you sure you wanna put up with me?” continued Jin to say.
“Only if you will put up with me.”
Both of them smiled at each other till their lips touched and they kissed completely ignoring the cat calls their friends gave them.
