Update: Dragon's Blood oil

Earlier, I had tried on some Dragon's Blood (non-BPAL) and had an allergic reaction.
Today, I was in a store that sold vials and incense, and discovered that Dragon's Blood most definitely should not smell like red hot cinnamon candies, although it is a spicy scent. (It should smell a bit more like allspice or chai.) So, I tried a little experiment

Cinnamon, is fiery, so protection, lust. I find it disturbing they aren't willing to offer a discount, on their negligence.

Actually, it's fairly common to not be able to discount. The bottle's been opened, so the oil can't be resold legally. (My dad runs a curio now - Bones, Rattles, & Roots and we had to become very well aware of the laws.)

Also, Cinnamon is favored to the sun, and thus brings good fortune and wealth. It can be used in some forms of healing (bringing in the power of the Sun)

Their negligence is rather disturbing however - there are some serious reactions people can have to cinnamon.

NB: most of the cinnamon sticks used in America aren't actual cinnamon: it's Cassia, a related plant with a much harsher flavor. This is important because many of the old recipes calling for cinnamon won't work unless it's Ceylon Cinnamon - the cinnamon from India.

Wasn't aware of the laws, but it makes sense. I'll have to think more on cinnamon.

Brenda, how much does the cinnamon oil cost? If it isn't that prohibitive, i may paypal you it. I could use some good fortune and money:)

Caspian, I was wondering, is your fathers shop hoodoo/voodoo related, since it sounds that way. Does he still have allergy problems? I was also wondering about the price of the cinnamon oil. And thanks for the info on cinnamon.
