Luna/Travis: Business Meeting/Closed

It took Luna much longer to get to Travis' office than she had originally expected. She had gone to London a few days ago for the meeting and ended up running into Angelina. Of course she wasn't thoughtless so she had owled Travis to postpone their meeting until today ( Read more... )

Travis had been in the middle of a new sketch when Heather, one of their receptionist, came knocking at his door. It took him a minute to even register that she was there.

"Mr. Briggs? You have somebody here to see you," she told him, a timid smile on her face. The girl was sweet, but young, and had a bad habit of saying the wrong thing.

Regardless, he got up and abandoned his sketch. Once out in the front lobby Travis recognized Luna immediately. After all, she was the only one actually out there.

"Luna, it's good to see you," he said, walking over to greet her.

She had been staring into space, as always when his voice broke into her mind. Her eyes widened in excitement and a smile spread across her face. She stood up, putting her hand out for a friendly handshake.

"You as well." She said in her airy voice. "I wasn't sure you'd remember me when I owled." She commented happily.

"Of course I remembered," he assured her, taking her hand. "Let's take a seat back in my office and we can talk about what you're looking for."

Travis nodded back towards the hallway and waited for Luna to fall in line with him before making his way back.

Luna followed him happily and when they arrived in his office she sat down in the seat obviously meant for visitors.

"I'm so excited that you're helping me with this, Travis." She said, getting right down to business.

"I have a lot of ideas, and I'm sure that they're mostly poppycock, but that's what I need you for!" She giggled.

She removed a small clutch purse from her bra and smiled as she dipped most of her arm into it, rummaging around for her sketch book.

"I know it's in here..." she said, frowning as she looked more diligently. "Ah! Got it!" she exclaimed, pulling out a large, thin book out.

She sat it on the desk facing him, and opened it.
