I got to play Silent Hill for a little bit today. It hasn't been too bad so far, but that's because I've played through a lot of this before and I've seen parts of the Let's Play videos for this, so I kinda knew what to expect.

For about the first hour or so, at least. After that, I was totally fair game.

Hah, the body in the locker is like the only jump scare in the series until halfway through SH3. It's a damn good one though.

I wish they'd remake that one with current graphics and the option to use 2d controls. I feel like it's only not as frightening because most of everything is made of clearly obvious squares and triangles.

It still manages to do its job very well, but then again, I'm a pansy.

I bet they'd give it the REmake treatment and change up everything just to mess up veterans. I'd still be all over it, though.

Is the actual hard drive dead? If not, you should be able to pull it out and access the contents on another machine.

If that doesn't work, there is software that can rip music off of an iPod, so you won't have to go hunting again.
