The Palms sucks!

I just got back from seeing Happy Feet, and the movie was awesome! However, the Brendon Theater in the Palms casino here in Vegas did NOT have the Harry Potter preview. And we asked so many times if they had the preview, but they kept acting stupid, giving us the runaround apparently, because after the movie, when we asked if just wasn't in the I- ( Read more... )

Got to see a cell phone video on U-tube, so I'm feeling much better now. And the penguin movie is pretty darn awesome!

Don't worry; sooner or later we'll be able to get it from the Warner Bros. website (says she who won't go see no steenking penguin movie just to paste eyes on Our Beloved Sallowness, Snape the HP trailer).

Haha, there's a cell phone video up on U-tube already! :) Besides, we all saw the bit with Alan Rickman's Snape in the 10 second clip they released yesterday (or the day before). So I'm better.

Anyway, I do have to say that the Penguin movie is awesome! Very cute and funny--even for adults.

Erm, the trailer was attached to the print. That means the assholes actually had to cut it off for you not to have seen it. There were two attached trailers, OotP and Fred Claus.

I've since heard that the theater people were just being jerks--it actually was in the normal theaters, just not in the imax. I guess they just didn't want to be bothered. Anyway, my son and I did really enjoy Happy Feet, so it wasn't a total loss. (I can say that now because the HP trailer's on the net, lol!)
