NOOOOO, MERLIN!!!! I love the mix-up with Lance getting GWEN instead of MERLIN. :) And how Merlin goes a little wild protecting Arthur.--they're all nice echoes of canon.

I enjoyed writing the reveal of the mix-up. :) And Merlin protecting Arthur was something like an echo of canon (I like how you discribed that!), but this Merlin doesn't have magic. But it's close. :) Thanks for reading and replying!
