I think you're right about the Vitamin D. I'm probably lacking in that (I'm not lacking sleep, that's for sure).
After watching that gif a few times, I finally noticed the human legs. XD I thought "wow, the cat is protecting that person!" and I guess my thoughts were right on that. That's one awesome guard kitty! :) Just proves how much better cats are as a animal companion.
I just replied to your other entry about it. I was going to say in my comment that maybe I shouldn't have posted the alligator gif... but then again, I had no idea that you had a nightmare about them. I found that gif yesterday evening and didn't have time to post it or anything at the time.
You seem to be predicting future events, big and small. XD (At least I HOPE you won't get attacked by an alligator! That wouldn't be good at all, and I would miss you terribly!)
I took an environmental ethics class in college too. Worst class of my life. It was focused more on philosophy, and I don't even know if I was being reprimanded in it because EVERYTHING went over my head. I have NO idea how I passed with a C. I frequently got 0s on the quizzes, I did somewhat decently on the written HW assignments, dozed off in class because it was a bore fest, failed the midterm, and must have pulled something out of my ass for the final. I seriously did not learn a thing except that I hate the environment, I hate ethics, and I loathe philosophy. And I probably wasn't setting myself up for a good experience since I frequently quote this line.
It's not that I dislike the class, or it's all the boring (the teacher is awesome) but it's what I need to do in order to pass the class. Certain things, etc... I don't really want to get into it but, yeah, just feeling not so great right now about the class. I'm learning, but sometimes the activities are just too much for me. But as I said, it's most likely my own fault (and my math class's fault, or something).
Oh, I love Mel Brooks! He's one of my favorite comedians. :)
I hear ya. Classes like that are always really frustrating. I don't know what I would have done if there were activities in my class, the teacher would probably have to prod me awake to do them XD
As for epilogues, I've written ones that were even longer than some of the chapters but I always consider the epilogue as not really part of the story but something later, to tie it all up.

That cat is awesome! It's nice to know that even cats can be good at guarding humans.
