I think I would have freaked out! I really can't check on things on LJ if I'm not in the safety of my own home because I'm so paranoid that someone will look over my shoulder.

I know what you mean. I usually don't have a problem because I usually hear people coming in and out of the library, so I have time to switch tabs or just minimize, but I must have really been distracted if I didn't hear her. XD

I almost never post, but I think that now is a good time to confess that since I've never owned a computer in my life, BUT
I've been a "Hard-core" fanfiction addict(Sometimes in quite a literal sense... ;) )since about 03/03, so where exactly do I
get my fix?

The Public Library Computer.

Yes, there are time constraints, so I get around those by printing out as much as I can afford. And of course the
librarians *themselves* count out the pages and tell you
what you owe. Needless to say, I have a rather strange relationship with some of the city's librarians.

And yes, quite a bit your stuff was printed out at some
time or another...
