(only read the Animorphs one because that's the only fandom I know)
I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR WRITING STYLE. Especially your Rachel. God, talking to other KuroBasu fans makes me go on memory trips into older fandoms. Oh, nostalgia. But yes, this is gorgeous. I love reading fics that present the same characters in different types of light... fics that give more perspective, I guess? Even though Tobias didn't play much of a role (and what? No Cassie? *laughs*), I thought it was perfectly fitting and so very like Rachel to refuse to ask her cousin for a random cute boy's name.
But yeah, and the basics! Grammar, spelling, punctuation... I just came back from an FFN browsing and was not very satisfied at all... too many Mary Sues...
Thanks for sharing and, no seriously, if you're still a fan of Animorphs, would you like to be livejournal friends? :D I still reread my Animorphs set from time to time! ...And by that I mean constantly.
alkdhfska I don't think that fic is a good example of my writing style, haha, I never use first person but with Animorphs using anything else feels kind of wrong. But thank you!
I am a liiiittle picky about grammar, although skimming through this I found a couple of typos anyway. orz Oh, well. Once it's posted I don't care anymore.
I am always and forever a fan of Animorphs! I don't talk about it often lately, but if you get me on the right topic I can rant for a while lol. We can certainly be LJ friends if you don't mind my frequent bitching and rampant cases of tl;dr.
*laughs* For me, that's definitely present-tense second person! xD But yeah, if I ever wrote Animorphs, I would probably force myself into first person as well.
Once it's posted I don't care anymore. Aaaaand that's pretty much how I roll as well. There are definitely fics up on shootswishscore that feature typos and the worst part is: I'll read through them and be like: man, that was jarring. And then I won't do anything about it. *flamboyant shrug* I'm just particularly lazy, I guess.
Yay~! It's nice to be friends with people over multiple fandoms (though I am generally a one-track-mind kind of fangirl soooo I'm probably going to be exclusively KuroBasu for a while... ^^;).
Hahaha if you ever e-mail me, you will find a large hunk of tl;dr material in my responses. They sometimes go over 3000 words because I'm awkward and rambly.
