day of reckoning

I started writing up an index post, and that means that it's almost certainly time for ( the somewhat annual index post! )

house, editing, writing, exercise, family, nanowrimo, index, the overworld

Number of times it's funny to say "It's curtains for you!" while hanging curtains: 3

OMG! Sometimes at work I have to shorten a zipper to fit a garment I'm making. To shorten a zipper, one almost always has to use pliers to laboriously remove the little plastic bits that fit together. And I can't help it, my brain always always says in its annoying, repetitive little voice, "It's like pulling teeth!"

I think my brain spends about a half hour a day doing stuff like that. Amazing we ever manage to think about anything new!

Heh. I would think this number would be much higher for the speaker. Just ask B how many times while in Rome I said, "You know, this wasn't built in a day." or "I call 'em as I see 'em." (whenever the Colosseum was in view) or ... well, you get the picture.

Hee hee hee. Yeah, I didn't specify _who_ it was funny to. :)

I don't think we said "This wasn't built in a day" a single time while in Rome, but I can't imagine why not!

Hee. I <3 statistics, too!

And go! go! push-ups! I can't remember if I told you, we've totally instituted a new rule that on all days of every week you get up to 120 seconds between sets. It helps A LOT with actually getting through them all.

Hee! I love this post.

Go you for keeping up with the pushups! I've fallen off the pushup wagon, but it was a conscious decision -- my shoulders were hurting when I was swimming from the pushup + swimming combined strain. I think after the triathlon, when my swimming is less intense, I'll be able to go back to doing pushups also.
