ME TOO!! This episode was just amazing, even though I was pretty sure I knew who "Claire's Daddy" was. It is nice to see that a lot of people hadn't figured it out before the reveal.
I completely agree with you about this adding a lot to Nathan's character! I only hope the writers don't let this opportunity slip away in favor of another lame "Nathan is a jerk" moment. :/
LMAO @ "keeping it in the family." The two most popular 'ships in fic involve Peter with his brother and now, his niece. Oh, fandom.
I'm not really in to the whole 'cest thing; however, at this point I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I will read any fic with Nathan in it. :/
LOL, that was pretty much my first thought as well. Oh, Heroes. I'm not a really big fan of the 'cest stuff, but it's almost impossible to avoid it in this fandom, and like I said above I'll read almost anything with Nathan in it.
I'll probably be skipping the preview from now on as well. It's amazing how badly the promo people screwed up with this one. I mean, one look at that shirt and the watch/rings and you knew it was Nathan! I even stumbled across a thread somewhere with pictures that showed Nathan with the exact jewelery.
Prop inaccuracies?
Wheee, it is awesome! I'm definitely on the "thrilled about this revelation" boat.
I'm being silly, mostly, but his watch in Distractions was different from the one in earlier episodes, and his big ring was on the wrong hand as well. Which is why I was a little thrown off by the promo, since I'd been *expecting* this revelation, but then they brought into focus the guy's hand and the details weren't quite- Well, there's one half-second clip that got overplayed and overanalyzed, heh! >_<
I'm insanely happy about this revelation! And it's funny cause when Peter was talking to Claude about Claire, I was like "Oh god the PAIRE shippers must be LOVING this..but then the whole Nathan thing happened and I was all asdkjlaskdjalskdj!!
I'm glad I didn't see the preview last week that seems like it gave it away..stupidest thing EVER!
LOL, I thought the same thing too! But since I was convinced at that point that Nathan was the father I also thought "Heh, enjoy this while you can, Paire 'shippers!"
I feel bad for them, really I do, but since that 'ship was one of my personal pet peeves I can't help but be a little happy.
IT SERIOUSLY WAS! I guess they thought that just seeing his arm and a little bit of his shirt would keep it mysterious. Yeah, NOT SO MUCH! As soon as I saw the arm I shouted "THAT IS SO NATHAN'S ARM!!!" And then of course I over analyzed his watch/rings and that just confirmed it.

I bow down before the minor (and probably intentional) props inaccuracies. This is awesome! ^_^
