christmas means getting my wallet stolen

yup..you read right..someone stole my wallet, out of my purse on christmas eve..how evil is that? i mean really...then they go and try and use one of my credit cards at an electronics store in the mall..well buster, i am going to hunt your ass down..make me cancel all my cards, all my id..leave me with nothing..i'll get you my pretty and your ( Read more... )

oooh... That sucks! I hope they catch the jerks...

I had my wallet stolen a few years back. Within 1 hr (max), they had spent 1700$... Most of it at the store where I worked! Obviously, they weren't checking ID or signatures, because the turkey that took the card knew damned well who I was, and should have spotted my card in someone else's hands. My wallet and cards reappeared on campus where they were stolen when the snow melted several months later, after they were all cancelled. As far as I know, they never caught the creep(s).

One bit of good news: you are not responsible for whatever bill the rack up.

It's still a pain in the a**, though...

Shit...as Isaac just said...Merry F***ing Christmas (sarcastically, of course)!!! I hope this jerk doesn't get anything he wants for the holiday and that Karma bites him firmly in the butt with a huge barbed grill in it's mouth!!
It really pisses me off when someone doesn't check my signature on my credit card...I think I'm going to be more forceful about that from now on. I know that if someone got ahold of my credit card, they could go all over the place and never run into a problem!

Grrrr.... What a fucking ass!!!!!

Sorry you had this happen..... Hope that its not too much hassel to get it all replaced... Just in time for your trip away too.... Is that going to cause issues?
