If anyone happens to be watching, get a few more clicks in for the Silence Is The Enemy blogs. It is still an issue, it isn't going away, and these blogs are donating the money they get from their Seed or Discover Overlords for click traffic to Medecins sans fronteires/Doctors Without Borders to help rape victims ( Read more... )

I know that feeling all too well. I've been struggling with it all month. I just couldn't bring myself to tackle much of anything in June because I was just feeling too overwhelmed.

We always get back in the fray eventually, though. There's no way we can ever fix everything that needs it, but if we can help any part of what comes within reach, it's good.

...Yeah, when I first heard about this, I thought it was a piss-take. I don't mind reading about this kind of thing in comics, or genre fiction. It's.......I was going to say "disturbing in real life", but somehow "disturbing" just isn't a strong enough word. I'm not sure exactly what would be a strong enough word. Um.
