Sorry to hear about the unpreparedness. I know the feeling!

I'm excited for your fic, though! And I know exactly what you mean. I'm nearing the end of my 20,000+ Psych fic, and I know the smut's supposed to come sometime soon, but I'm just not sure I'm very good at writing it! I'm kind of avoiding thinking about or writing more for the fic basically for that reason!

I trust it'll come along for ya. Sometimes you just need a push of inspiration!

:) I basically feel kind of weird about it because it's different reading it to writing it, and never feels the same when I read it back. Also, I so cannot show it to my friends because I only have one who reads slash - and she doesn't read Psych :(

I figure I'm gonna have to find a beta for it eventually. Shawn's voice just never feels right; probably because I don't get to watch Psych too often. (Stupid UK T.V. system)

But I wanna read yours! I always want new fics; that's why I started writing - cause I read too fast X3 *waits in anticipation*

I know what you mean. It's really different when you're writing it. It's your own brain imagining these different scenarios, rather than following someone else's. Makes me feel vulnerable!

My fic's coming along slowly but surely. I've got about 5-7,000 words left to write, I think... (and hope!) It's been rearing it's crazy head since January, so I'll be glad to have it up on Psych_Slash for you and everyone else to read.

Hm, I see what you mean with the vulnerability thing. It's like, I'm okay going into that imagining if I'm reading something, but it's odd thinking about it independently - and then writing it down. ^//^

XDDD Mmm giant orgy :) And it's pretty normal I think - the mind/gutter thing :D I spend most of my lessons now re-visiting parts of fics I like and sort of giggling/squeeing to myself XD

And I don't know who'd be more jealous if Shawn started flirting with Jack (because I think it'd have to be Jack) - Lassie or Daniel *g*
