MAIN CHAPPIE - 1 I Don't need you hot-chocolate! …right?right?!
But, no kidding; it really was cold. Not oddly, his body was beginning to feel less warm than his hands, which were in the pockets of the jacket. Thus, quickly causing himself to halt in front of a Starbucks, he mournfully stared at the all the people that seemed to be enjoying a good cup of hot-chocolate, which he craved for so badly at the moment. However, he was now on a mental feud with the insanely delicious brown liquid, and he wasn't going to be the first to give in. Nonetheless, the fact remained that having something warm going through his body, and maybe staying in an actual warm place was what he absolutely needed at the moment.
Quickly pushing the doors of the coffee store open, and practically sliding himself in, he gratefully allowed the heat to gently wrap him, as he walked towards the counter, strategically keeping at enough distance from where he could stare at the board to decide what he was going to have, and not seem like he was ready to order
-Can I help you sir?... - asked a short girl wearing the store's apron, and hat, a microphone hanging form her ear, a notepad, and a pen readily pointed on it
-... No thanks, I am still deciding - apologetically grinned Jin, as the girl merely smiled, and moved to the person standing behind him; so much for strategic placement.
Staring at the selection, he quickly bypassed the chocolate section, which meant that his options were going to be limited to either coffee or tea. As soon as he began scanning the coffee names, a weird sensation crept up his stomach realizing that that was all that Yuuto drank, which inevitably made him think of the bassist. Resignedly sighing, he had no choice but to settle for some good old green tea. He was Japanese after all, and needed to contribute to the economy of his own country, until he fixed his messy situation with Yuuto; which was why he entered a Starbucks … right.
Picking a table the innermost corner as far as possible from the window, finally realizing that even though they weren't as popular as the GazettE, there might have still been someone who could have recognize him. Though, without make up, he'd have to admit that it would have been pretty darn hard to recognize any Visual Kei singer, but he couldn't say for sure; fans were surprisingly sneaky little beings.
-Gaaaaa ...Yuukun~! Why, why, why did we have to move in today! ...why on Chrsitmas day!- annoyingly pointed out the drummer, whom was in visible fatigue, as he was helping the bassist carry one side of his own couch into what was going to be their new living room
-Again ...- frustratedly breathed out the bassist -... You were the one, who said that you had no plans ...- calmly replied the other matter-of-factly -... and I to me Christmas is just another day, to be more precise, it's the three-hundred and fifty-ninth day of he year … counted it once- admitted the taller, with a proud grin as they placed the couch down, as the other rolled his eyes
-What … about ...- loudly panted the blond holding himself by the couch - the present, the light, the songs … that unique feeling of calm and happiness, that you only have on Christmas day!- he expressed with passion and confidence -... I loooove Christmas...- he stated
-Those are things for kids ...- plainly replied the taller, obtaining an offended expression from the blond, which was seventy-five percent felt - … and since you “looooove” Christmas, why didn't you organize a dinner, joined Kazuki and Byou, or something? ...- he then inquired, sounding truly confused, and looking at the drummer like he was a nonsensical being.
-Whatever ...- Jin tiredly sighed, getting off the couch and walking towards the entrance of the living -room -... let just get this over with- he concluded, as the other merely shrugged and followed.
-I guess I truly did already like you from back then after all ...- he whispered to himself with an ironic grin. If that hadn't been the case, there would have been absolutely no sensible reason for him to have refused his most awaited traditional dinner with his parents, which he had already confirmed he would obviously be part of, that was, until Yuuto had called him just after he had hanged up with his parent.
-Hey Yuu-kun, wassup? - stated the blond, holding up his phone with his shoulder, as he skimmed through a rack of shirts, wanting to buy a new one for his parent's dinner.
-Hey, I am just calling you to tell you that I am moving my stuff on the twentieth - nonchalantly stated the brunette
-What??? On Christmas?!?- almost yelled the blond, as he absently stared at the shirt in his hands -...why, I mean, how about your family- was about to inquire the blond, but was cut by the brunette
-We are not religious, so it's just another day to me. You don't have to worry, I was just informing you, you can move in whenever, I don't need help-
-Of course I'll come ...and help!- quickly replied the blond
-Don't you have a family dinner? ...- skeptically inquired the bassist
-No … not … this year? ...- hesitantly spoke the blond, wandering exactly what the fuck he was saying, as he annoyingly dropped the shirt, wondering what he was doing ...again.
It had felt horrible to justify himself to his parents, and at the time, he told himself that he felt sorry for the other having to spend a day such as Christmas by himself. Now, it was obvious enough, that he instead was the one, who wanted to spend a day such as Christmas with the other.
… How did his green tea turn cold so fast?! … this wouldn't have happened if he had hot-chocolate.
