I was bored over the holidays, and this idea popped into my head - what would the Warehouse 13 characters be like if they were in the Disney universe?
So, here's what the Disney characters that the Warehouse Agents and Staff would be if they were the Disney universe.
Myka
1. Belle
Myka is definitely Belle - for one, she’s a bookworm. But beyond that, she’s got a lot of the qualities that makes Belle such an awesome Disney character. She’s kind, honest, wise beyond her years and doesn’t stop for a pretty face. In short, she’s her own woman, and she knows it. She’s not going to change for anybody. And while she’s a gentle person to be around if she likes you, she’ll totally call you out if you’re acting like...well, like a beast.
2. Tiana
Tiana was the second choice because she is a workaholic with a firm sense of what needs to be done. She might not like her responsibilities all the time, but she knows that she can do it the best. Unfortunately, because she works so hard this also makes her blind to the fun things in life sometimes. Another negative quality is that she thinks that she always needs to do things her way. Tiana is much more Season 1 Myka, but they’re still so alike that I thought she was a good runner-up.
Honorable Mention
Nala
Myka, like Nala, will tell you the harsh truth, even if it hurts. You know you can count on her to have your back and not mince her words. She knows how to get your butt in gear, whether it be telling a king to go back and overthrow his evil uncle or telling her boss that he needs to trust her more.
Pete
1. Flynn Rider
Flynn and Pete share many qualities: they’re arrogant, way too cocky, sarcastic and think they are God’s gift to women. When working, they both think that playing around and just getting out of danger at the last second is the best way to do it. But when you throw someone they really care about into the mix, they’ll turn serious on you in a second and go to any risks for them.
2. Simba
Both Simba and Pete were haunted by the loss of their fathers, believing it to be their fault. Since then, they’ve dedicated their lives to making up for that loss: Simba by ruling his father's kingdom honorably and Pete by using his vibe to save lives. While they might blow off their responsibilities at first, you can count on them to shape up and follow through.
Honorable Mention
Lumiere
Although only a supporting character, Lumiere is arguably one of the most entertaining characters in “Beauty and the Beast.” He’s funny, charismatic, and charming, just like Pete. They help run their home (Lumiere, the castle; Pete, the Warehouse) and attempt to diffuse tense situations with their charm and humor, to only some success.
Claudia
1. Ariel
Ariel loves to look outside the box, explore a new world, disobeys her elders’ orders, doesn’t conform to anybody, jumps into foolhardy situations and has a secret treasure trove of special objects from a different world. Although Ariel’s a bit more of a romantic, she’s got all of the character traits that we know and love in Claudia.
2. Mulan
Arguably one of the most badass characters in the history of Disney movies, Mulan is tough, strong and determined to prove herself worthy to her father. Sure, she screws up a lot, but in the end comes through for everybody with her innovative thinking. Sound like anybody you know?
Honorable Mention
Rapunzel
Claudia’s much, much more sarcastic and street smart than Rapunzel, but she’s still got that gleam of happy innocence that makes her unusual both in the Warehouse and in the later era of Disney movies.
Artie
1. Beast
Um...I’m not really sure this needs an explanation except for the fact that while they’re scary and slightly ungroomed on the outside, they’re adorable once they let their guard down.
2. King Triton
Both are very stuck in their ways, certain that what they know is right. And while this might lead to them committing some stupid moves (destroying your daughter’s cave of human treasures; not telling your employees that your ex-partner is a psychopath that wants to kill them...) it’s only because they just want to make sure that the ones they love (especially their children figures) are safe. And they’d give anything for that.
Honorable Mention
Pooh Bear
This one really doesn’t need an explantation.
