Accomplishment

Today I completed my first painting in... oh, 13-14 years, somewhere in there. Wanna see it? I think it looks better in person, though not TOO close up...

Cut in case the photo jacks up your f-lists )

Impressive Wendy. I'll give you an A for color, perspective, balance of negative space, and design.

Thanks, Professor Nam! I used a reference photo, but will not be posting that since that would let everyone know what liberties I took :D

Aww, thanks!

Hehe, yeah maybe I should do a snake next time... I like snakes but tigers are prettier.

Ooooo those ARE pretty! And would be fun to paint!

...dangit, I guess I deleted my Snakes on a Plane/Harry Potter/Pulp Fiction crossover icon that was snake-y. Hee.

Thank you! I know you are artistic yourself :) I made the eyes brighter than they're technically supposed to be, but yeah, they're pretty that way :D

That's cool. Artistic freedom is all good :)

(That neon snake is really cool too. Be cool to see that as a paining ;) )

Ack, hint hint? It would be a good excuse to buy more colors... I actually didn't buy anything for this because in 2010 I went through a "I want to paint" phase that lasted juuuust long enough for me to go buy stuff. Which then became part of the art supplies hoard.

Thank you! I actually had a dream a few days ago about a real tiger in my house, and chasing me down the street >.> It was terrifying.
