tell me about the shopping part man..we've been looking at sinks and toilet bowls all week. and our reno is in sept! Anymore auntie stuff I think i have to go out in an oversize t-shirt with my hair up in rollers hehehehe

as for electronics. not sure where you have been looking but may be cheaper to get at neighbourhood shops. my very onz WIS team mate send me a list. lemme know if you want. for my bed and bedframe I'm planning to go to ackerman. heard pricing and service there are great

Just getting a bed, sofa, coffee table and thats it. not even getting a dining table yet coz its just the 2 of us having our meals for now.

jul/ aug? you gonna reno during hungry ghost ah? its not recommended if you are pantang. I defer getting my keys till June when I have found a job.

yeah I booked with Furama Riverfront for my ROM. Roming in late Sept ;)

the thing abt electrical stuffs is that it's cheaper if u buy from small retailers & you pay via cash/nets.

I got mine from the small shop at alexandra village.. a $1799 fridge in mass merchant stores costs 1599 at Audio House & $1400 @ the small shop!!

But I got my LCD TV from IT show.. & don't buy on the first day cos they discounted $100 for everyday that I asked.. day 1 was 3699, day 2 was 3599, day 3 was 3499 & last day was 3399 (abt same px as small retailers).. and got lotsa freebies!
