Okay, my panning between characters works much better in this one.  I turned two cips into 3d layers and added an animated camera to pan back and forth between them which makes it feel more realistic since the camera is pivoting on a fixed point instead of sliding back and forth like it was on a dolly.  I forgot to white balance between takes so ( Read more... )

Thanks, I think I bit off the correct amount for this project though it would have benefited a lot from another hand to help double check some settings... like the sound levels and white balancing.

Holy Guacamole! that was good. I especially liked the slow zoom. I didn't notice any of the other problems you mentioned while watching at work. ;) Your acting gives it a bit of a comical feel, but that ending is still pretty intense.

I can't wait until the next one.....

I find it is hard to get perspective on some of this stuff since I'm processing it on such a detailed level. I hear every problem with the audio, I see all the errors in the composition shots, I see every time my eyes make contact with the camera.

I think the third does a great job in bringing this home. At least I hope the payoff is worth the setup.
