And she still looks like Sora. She doesn't know why, but she doesn't really care right now. She went back to him, she knows she did. It's the last thing she remembers, fading into light as everything she is and Roxas was flowed back to him

[someone in a black coat like that isn't hard to miss at all, even if he is on the opposite side of the plaza, and he can't help the grin that immediately spreads across his features. even his musical accompaniment instantly turns energetic as well! naturally, he starts to make a beeline for her, hoping that's her and not one of the other black-coated people who came to the town before (the whole thing would be a bit awkward otherwise.)]

Xion! Is that you under that hood?

[Her head jerks up and her eyes widen. Everything in her tenses to run at the sound of his voice -- she isn't sure if she can handle talking to him when he doesn't remember h --

Except -- ]

D... Doctor?

[Again, she's too distracted to really notice that the music has changed.]

[bit_impossible]

[still grinning, he slows to a stop as he nears her] That's me. The one and only!

[irreversibly]

Y-You -- I --

[She wipes her hand across her eyes.]

[bit_impossible]

What, did you think I'd forget you? [he opens his arms out wide, his eyes sparkling with mischief] I couldn't if I tried!

[irreversibly]

[He -- ]

I -- I --

[She collapses into his arms, clinging and crying. It's all she can do.]

[he blinks in surprise because of her tears, but then hugs her tight, simultaneously lifting her off her feet as he does so]

[A small surprised squeak escapes her when she's picked up, but she buries her face into his clothes.]

I thought everyone -- Verita --

[bit_impossible]

[his smile slips a bit and he sets Xion back down on her feet]

I know. The same goes for Audrey and the Sheriff, and I'm betting Osculia as well. [he releases his hold, putting a hand on her head, putting his smile back on] But that doesn't mean everyone's lost their memory of what happened.

[irreversibly]

I just... I knew everyone would forget me, but I forgot, and Verita, she... She was my first friend here. And... It reminded me that...

[She wipes her eyes.] I'm... I'm so glad you remember.

And you remembered me, like you remembered Verita. The heart never forgets even if the mind does, Xion. Deep down, you're still her friend, and she'd be happy to know you still think of her that way.

[irreversibly]

[Her music returns to the theme that was following her before, but a different version.

"When I disappear, no one will remember me... I'll remember." You'll forget me, but the memories themselves will never go away.

Xion nods.]

Yeah. You're... You're right.

[bit_impossible]

[he grins] Of course, I always am! Well, usually--well...no, I had it right the first time. Don't mind me. Here, would you like a chocolate orange? I had a few pieces already; couldn't help it. [pulls it out of his pocket, making sure the foil is back in place, and hands it to her--and when he does, this plays]

Blimey, there it is again! And I thought I was just hearing things before.

[irreversibly]

[blink.] Um. Sure --

Ah! Wh-What was that?

[And for the first time, she notices the music.]

Wha... What's all this music?

[bit_impossible]

[gives the chocolate orange, seeming non-plussed by the change in music] Funny you should ask that. I've been trying to find the source of the music all day but haven't had any luck. And it isn't just one song--well, it can be and repeats in a loop over and over and over until it suddenly switches to something else. Hasn't helped to keep the earworms out, though... [scratches his chin]
