4) A really fantastic metaphor from Hard Times. 5) D, as in David. Because Delta would be confusing! Even more than that ridiculous Tetris-shaped airport.
The only answers I have are 1 and 5 this time around:
1. "But thou must!" 2. I'm guessing terminal D, because the corresponding character is "Delta". It's named that way to avoid confusion with the airline.
2) Round 1: 9000 base. If both Double Jeopardies occurred on the last two panels, timed to be the least point amount (100): 8800 * 2 = 17600 * 2 = 35200
Round 2: 18000 base. Plus previous round. Now 70400 base. If both Double Jeopardies occurred on the last two panels, timed to be the least point amount (200): 700000 * 2 = 140000 * 2 = 280000.
Final Jeopardy. 560000.
5) Ha ha! I was just there on the way back from Peru. I'm going with T, only because I remember a sign saying T-Gate or something. (I presume that the T stands for Terminal.) There was no signage in the airport that used military designators for terminals. Everything was purely alphanumeric. At least that's how I remember it. All PA systems used alphanumeric designators that I recall hearing.

5) D is NOT called Delta, because Delta is the name of an airline carrier.
