While the congressman has his work cut out for him, one thing does seem to be going his way. Me too except then I think about how much I want to jump his fighting-for-justice-in-Africa self and I realize it's a lost cause. My priorities may be elsewhere.

I'm due to go to Africa for a summer in my 20s (a pledge I made when I was 15) by the help of Baha'is for a year of service. I had a choice between a year in China or a summer in Africa but at 15 I decided I couldn't be away from my mother for that long. *facepalm*
