I've had a couple of requests for our Chai Recipe, and I just this morning had an epipheny about it (how to make chilled chai tasty, which the original recipe was not capable of doing), and so I thought I would post about it. (Also: notice the new food porn user pic? It's even a picture of chai!)

I never had -your- chai, but that looks yummy. I'm going to memory it. Where do you get whole allspice berries?

As it turns out, my current Allspice berries supply was given to me by a friend when she came back from a trip to the Caribbean.

That said, my spice purchasing needs are usually filled by Penzeys.
They have an online store (and I checked, they do indeed sell Whole Allspice berries): Penzeys

and they also have a local store in Chestnut Hill, which is much fun to peruse through. I drop ridiculous quantities of money when I go there, so be warned. ;)
