I've pulled out the hot chocolate making thingummy, and fingerless mittens are now indoors accessories.

The soup I made from deadlands' roast chicken was divine, and made 2 dinners + 1 lunch and I was very happy with it. It ended up super simple: just the broth, leftover chicken bits, a couple of potatoes, cubed, salt and pepper. Served with fresh bread, and that local cider. Nom! Definitely the best broth I've managed to accomplish yet. I think there needs to be more roast + soup making in my life.

If you are interested in having hot chocolate, say, _today_, then what I'm actually low on is milk. So, that's the problem ingrediant at the moment. re: chocolate, I have the following chocolate products that can be used in my house already: natural and dutch process cocoas and various bars of chocolate (some sort of callebaut dark? some sort of TJ's milk choc? not sure). If you would like to bring a particular chocolate item for use that is not listed above, just make sure it's either powdered, shavings, or choppable.

I usually just wear the fingerless mittens to keep my knuckles from getting scarred up when I hit people....(grin)...TC
