Hi Lulu, Fleurette here! I know that you had good reason to be a growly bear while you were shopping yesterday: after all, the brainless one in that anecdote you told us about the search for bin-liners in the supermarket wasn't you (the blind person), but that young idiot of an employee (who couldn't even be bothered to read the names of the bin-liners)! And I know you're not so bouncy when you can't talk to Rob as much as usual, which will be the case while he's in Las Vegas (hopefully not gambling!), but console yourself with the thought of some mobile phone calls over the next few days, followed by lots of Skype again when Rob gets back to California. You have so much to be thankful for, in spite of life's downers: that elderly lady paid you a lovely compliment, you had a highly ymmy-sounding lunch with your Gran, and you're going to spend Christmas with your family. So you just tell growly bear to go into hibernation, I don't want her hanging round you: OK, I don't expect you to be super-duper-bouncy all the time, but I don't want

i agree with clare, what a wonderful lady that came up to you in the supermarket. stupid shop workers sometimes. damn them all to hell and a merry christmas to you.
