Is it only me that thinks 'The building is beige, but the shadows make it shadow-color.' is a whole lot worse than a gaping gap?

*feels better* thanks Lu! :D

Well he uses the word gap like twenty more times in the story. But either way, it is very cringe-worthy.

Seriously, we could write the stuffing out of him. :D

... I actually feel a lot better about myself right now.

Thanks. That literally helped with my writing block.

Shadows are shadow-colored. People die when they are killed.

Oh dear... Need to pull out the facepalm icon here...

It was very... well, I'm not totally up to date on all of my literary terms, but going off of my definitions of modern and postmodern, it seemed kind of like a cross between those two. And I really dislike postmodern. Plus it was just nasty...

And God, there were so many similes and metaphors! And they were really disgusting, too! God... seemed very juvenile-thinks-it's-refined to me. *facepalm*

I don't think you really need any sense of literary background in order to cringe.

*has horrible, terrible, no good flashbacks*

I think it has very little to do with you, and everything to do with Franco's need to try too hard.
