It's March.

I can't believe it is ALREADY March.  *sigh*

Anyway, I thought I would tell you all that I'm going to be joining the Hemingway Short Story Competition this year.  I mentioned it last year, but I was a little late to the party and everything fell flat.  The due date is May 1st, so there is still a little over two months in order to come

PFFf... I doubt I'll win anything. The Hemingway is the most popular/prestigious short story competition. But my novel writing has been put off to the side thanks to the new job and house hunting. So I would like to work on SOMETHING so I don't feel like I've been waffling all of my time.

Oh wow. Has it really been a year already? When I read the guidelines and previous entries, I feel the strong urge to compete. It sounds like fun, not to mention a good stepping stone for beginners. Lulu, I would proudly join you in this adventure!

It has been a year, crazy huh? I know you were thinking about it last year, that story about some guy with bombs or something. :D

I have no idea what I'm going to do yet. But I think I'm just going to try to come out with some idea in the dead of night.

Oh my gosh. I've forgotten all about that story with the bomb-guy! Your memory is so good. (But I have NOT forgotten about that WWII AU that sits on my desktop and getting... um... uh... really, really, realllllllly well-seasoned. XD)

I have a different idea for this time around for the competition. So hopefully that will go over well! And Lulu, whatever you crank out in the dead of the night is certain to be supremely awesome. WE CAN DO THIS. YES WE CAN.
