Title: The Kids from Yesterday
Pairing:OnKey <3
Summary: Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, oh, Key can’t breathe :o
Tidbit: It's not very like fluffy yet or smutty but trust me I'm getting there. Yeah if you didn't notice I don't really have a title for this yet so any suggestions would be cool (I just named it after the song i was listening to at the time). In all honesty this episode or chapter isn't that awesome and you could probs skip it and miss none of the actual story. But if you love me you'll sill read it because... you loves me? :D
On their way back to Jinki’s apartment, Key tried to stay at least 5 feet in front of Jinki at all times. He didn’t want to have to explain to Jinki why he had his house Key in the first place, but seeing how he no longer had a place to call home, he’d eventually have to confess to Jinki.
Again they walked into the apartment building, the door man shooting them odd looks, Key giving to elderly man his infamous diva look in response. They got onto the elevator, the few minutes spent inside of it felt like hours to Key. Even the sound of his own breath startled him.
As they walked out of the elevator and onto Jinki’s floor, Key decided to walk behind Jinki this time, just in case he needed a head start for running away. When they finally approached his door, Jinki stretched his arm out behind him towards Key.
Confused at first, Key stared at his hand, wondering what the signal could mean. After a few moments, key realized that Jinki was attempting to get his apartment key back. The fact that he didn’t realize that immediately made Key chuckle but he quickly stopped when Jinki looked back to see what he was doing. He handed Jinki the key and the two of them walked into Jinki’s apartment for the final time that day.
Key stood in the living room, not moving for fear of being scolded. Jinki stood in the kitchen waved his arm towards Key and said “well what are you waiting for, come this way”. Key hesitated, thinking that Jinki would try and hurt him and this time no one would be there to save him.
Slightly annoyed that Key wasn’t moving quickly enough, Jinki went up to Key and grabbed him by the wrist and started pulling. Key began screaming “Ya! What do you think you’re doing”? With his unclenched hand, Key began pounding on Jinki’s arm.
Laughing fairly hard, Jinki started to question Key’s pounces, “What are you doing? I’m just trying to help you out”. Jinki opened up one of the bed room doors and playfully through Key onto the bed. Key began pulling the cover close to him while yelling “it’s my body and I have a right to say no!”
Still chuckling, Jinki turned on the light switch and said to Key “Ok Kibumie, you can do whatever you want with your body in your room”.
It took Key a second to process what Jinki had said, and after he realized it he couldn’t catch his breath. The room was pretty much empty besides the bed and not really much to look at but that didn’t matter too much to Key at that moment because Jinki telling him the room was his still rung in Key’s ears.
“I know it’s not much to look at, but we can go get you some new stuff tomorrow” Jinki said as he shot Key his signature toothy smile.
Key, still in shock, looked at Jinki and asked in a serious tone, “why are you doing all of this for me, you barely know me?”
Jinki’s face lit up bright red as he answered Key’s question. “Just because I don’t know very well about you don’t mean that I don’t care about”. Although Key couldn’t quite rap his head around Jinki’s logic, it didn’t stop his heart from beating faster and faster.
Just as Jinki was about to leave the room, Key called out to him as asked “How did you know where I was earlier, you know with the whole Jjong thing”. Jinki began scratching his head “Oh that. I don’t know if you realized but you tend to talk aloud a lot. When I had opened my door earlier I had seen you walking away while planning and talking about where you were going. Really all I had to do was take the stair and stay about 10 feet behind you and you really didn’t notice”.
‘Major face palm’ immediately ran thought Key’s mind. “Anyway” Jinki began again “I’ll see you when the sun comes out. Good night”. And with that Jinki blew Key a kiss and shut the door.
