I would guess most of you already know this, but I keep a pretty low profile on the 'net. I'm active, but I'm not very out-going. It sounds really freaking upsetting darling. :( Just unpleasant. To be honest, I haven't come across Nice Guy syndrome very often (read: this is my first intro to it), and it took me a couple of gos to see what was so unfunny about the joke (but man, it's like one of those optical illusions; when you see it, YOU REALLY SEE IT), but... honestly, I'm always really taken aback when people get up in arms AGAINST feminism. Yes, there are idiots who take feminism way too far in the other direction ("LET US ENSLAVE ALL MEN AND USE THEM AS ARTICLES OF FURNITURE!" "...let's not, and say we did."), but the assholes who rock up all offended by women daring to count themselves as equal, have an opinion, and express it eloquently - well, they just confuse the shit out of me.

I basically have nothing constructive to say; I can only offer all the hugs, ever. *HUGS*

For what it's worth, I agree with your post 110%. Also, anyone who uses the word "feminazi" with a straight face is basically declaring "I'm a fucking dumbass" as far as I'm concerned.

*cuddles* Sorry you had to deal with this.
