I filled out the questionnaire for the full_moon_swaps  October swap today. It was pretty deep stuff and I stared into space for nearly 2 hours, trying to put in words some very personal feelings and attitudes. All this before I finished the first cup of coffee. Whew!

It made me think a lot about how much of a traditionalist I am, despite my "who cares" attitude. ( Read more... )

wow sounds like you had a super busy week!

I'm skipping out on this month's swap. I don't feel all that connected to it, so I didn't feel it was fair to pass that onto my swap partner.

No ritual on Monday? I'm doing a small one. I need to let go of a bunch of stuff so I wrote (my first!) ritual for it. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm jealous that the leaves have started to change for you. Here in Texas, everything is still all green and looking like summer (feeling like it, too, with highs of 88-90)

*hugs*

It's still mostly green here, but a little further east, closer to the mountains, there is a little color. Peak color is usually 2nd-3rd week in October, something I eagerly anticipate every year.

No, no ritual on Monday. I feel a little off-kilter and not up to planning... so will just light candles and meditate.

I understand that. I spent a long time being off and not doing ritual. I've missed it so I pushed myself and did a full moon ritual and now I'm feeling back into things. *shrug* it happens.

I'm jealous of your leaf changing time. Texas doesn't get much of that. The tree in our yard doesn't change colors, the green leaves just fall off slowly and new ones come back, sometimes you don't even notice it. So sad.

I love the nest.... I want to send you one to decorate for ME. I'd love to hang it over my craft area for inspiration.

I thought of you the other day, when I was debating topics. We had to post a paragraph to a discussion board about our topics and one young lady is going to write about natural homemade cleaners. It made me go back through some of your posts and look for your recipe for detergent. :) I want to try it.

I am moving full speed ahead on my frugal feeding paper. I am actually enjoying writing it.
