[...It was tough to miss all that fighting going on over the journal. Especially considering it was all in Luka's voices... male and female, even if each was different. Dammit. Well, the sounds on the journal suggested in the forest by the river. He's not going to waste any time because this sounded bad.

So Adell's going to charge into the forest, following the river, hoping to find her... or him. Or whatever personality setting is in charge.]

[Adell rubs the side of his face where the previous punch had landed. He's tough and all, but those still hurt. He raises an eyebrow when he hears Luki's voice. And then another change...]

Huh? You mean Luki? And who was that? ...And what's your name?

[The voice is one of a boy, like Luki's but somehow younger, almost like a male First Luka. He looks away for a second, still playing with a lock of hair.]

Big Brother Luki, yes... He could have pulled her back earlier, before she punched you so much.

She was Luka, Luka Okurine. Ah, I'm Luke Megurine.

[...Two more of Luka's personalities. Well, suddenly that made sense. His expression softens, now that he knows he's dealing with one that's not going to just wail on him with punches.

Doesn't stop his face from throbbing some. Okurine can sure throw a good punch.]

It's fine. I'm sure he had his reasons. If anything, I guess it's best that she hit me rather than someone else. I can take it.

But about all that arguing over the journal and what Luka Okurine said...

"They took her away" and "She's gone." Did the Malnosso remove Luka's prime personality?

[Adell's face pales at the confirmation.]

[...He trails off for a moment and turns to the side. And then abruptly, his orange aura leaps to life intensely. And there's a small hill crest right there next to them.

He lashes out with a punch, striking it with a blow that almost couldn't be seen, splitting it in half with ease. And he doesn't even look like it'd slow him down.]

When I get my hands on the bastards that did this, they're going to wish they were that lucky!

[...With that moment of rage done, he takes a deep breath and dismisses his aura, giving a sigh. No. Losing it is not going to help right now.]

I'm sorry, Luke. ...Are you and the others all right, at least?

[Luke watches Adell with a worried expression as he pales at the news. He's sorry for having to tell him, he really is no good at dealing with people, that's why he prefers to not get in control often. But Luki is busy now and Okurine is a big no. First Luka can't do anything else and Anna... She would be worse than him.]

[He watches the other... Until the orange aura leaps to life and he splots in half a small hill crest that was there. The whole action doesn't take long but even as it's happening Luke flinches and turns around, walking briskly away from Adell.]

[Adell's question falls in deaf ears as Luke's already at quite a distance. He's not running away, but he's not stopping either and walks with a high rhythm. He definitively isn't good at dealing with people, specially people like Okurine who don't shy away from punching things. Not that Okurine can hit him, and probably neither would Adell, but still... Luke doesn't like fighting, okay?]

[Adell will hustle to catch up to him, but won't look aggressive in doing so.]

[Just not stopping and actually walking a bit faster as Adell catches up. And his answer certainly didn't sound okay either, very worried and almost scared.]

[He'll stop following for a moment to speak. He doesn't sound accusatory or like he's berating him for anything, but rather speaking with his usual warm confidence.]

[Well, that makes Luke stop and turn around to look at Adell, immediately raising a hand to play with a lock of hair again.]

One must not say things that will hurt others. Even if that means one has to lie. To lie is better than to hurt people.
